This practice is inspired by Sufi poet Rumi, he guides us into peace in the present moment. His poem The Guest House greets the present moment by ‘opening the door laughing’ whatever that moment brings. We test out this attitude, not attempting to surrender forever, just now. Use the cleansing breath to refresh your body and the So Hum mantra to find a quieter, healthier state of being. Then listen and just be, whatever the external world is doing.
