Establish presence through the senses. Continue to come back to the breath, gently extending the exhale. Observe and deep the connection you have in the here and now. With light, love, gratitude and grace. Namaste.

We'll begin today's practice by making your way into a shape that you can remain relatively still for.

Be comfortable in for an extended period of time.

Once you've found your way into your shape,

Whether lying on your back,

Seated in a chair,

Standing upright,

Notice the relationship that you have with your breath.

Is it well established and present or is there some momentary searching to catch it?

Establishing that relationship with the breath,

Extending out through your exhales and allowing the inhales to not happen naturally.

A gentle settling of the mind,

A settling of the body.

Starting the process of establishing our presence.

Take a gentle gaze around your environment.

Notice if there's an image,

A color,

A shape that the eyes are naturally drawn to.

Or if the eyes are darting from point to point.

You'll soften the gaze wherever it falls.

And come back to establishing the breath.

Extending out through the exhales.

Filling that space up with the inhales.

Making our way to the connection we have to the surface beneath.

What's making contact with the earth or your chair?

Is there a receptivity to that touch?

Allowing our touch points to hold us in presence.

What's making contact with the earth or your chair?

Extending out through the exhales naturally receiving with the inhale receiving any smells that may be lingering the freshness of air the fragrance of cooking any soft perfumes or fragrances being emanated out for your nose to breathe in extending out through the exhales deepening presence with every inhale how is the tongue in the mouth is there any taste present is the area moist or dry tense or tight is there spaciousness in the mouth the throat and in the jaw extending out through the exhale establishing presence on the inhale relating to our environment both internally and externally building a relationship with our senses in order to deepen our presence within the moment to draw the mind and the body back to experiencing what is happening in the here and the now take as much time here exploring your senses expanding your awareness deepening that relationship you have with yourself with light love gratitude and grace namaste
