With eyes closed and in a place where you can fully relax,

Take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Once again,

Breathe in and breathe out.

Notice your body taking a cue from the breath to relax.

Take another slow,

Deep breath in and now,

As you exhale,

Notice your mind letting go of thoughts as you feel a deep sense that all is well in this moment.

In your mind's eye,

See a beautiful door standing slightly ajar.

You put your hand on the door and push it open.

You enter a room with a comfy overstuffed chair in front of a wall of books.

Near the chair there's a soft rug and a warm lamp on a small table.

Across from the chair is a window with a view of a beautiful forest.

Your favorite scent wafts lightly through the air.

Everything about this room is so comfortable and cozy.

You decide to take some time to simply relax here.

As you have a feeling,

This place can offer serenity and restoration for your body,

Mind and spirit.

Sit down on the comfy chair and let your bare feet rest on and snuggle into the fluffy soft rug.

Feel yourself sinking into the chair as your shoulders relax and move down away from your ears.

Notice how warm and cozy your feet feel resting on the luxurious rug.

Begin to feel a softness,

A feeling of peace in your feet.

Take a moment to enjoy this feeling of relaxation as you continue to breathe normally.

Allow the peaceful relaxation to travel from your feet into your ankles,

Shins and calves.

Let the relaxation move into your knees,

Soothing and softening your knees as they relax peacefully.

Let peace and relaxation move into your thighs,

Hips and pelvis.

As you feel this area,

Release and sink deeply down into the chair as it supports you.

Feel the calming relaxation move into your back,

Abdomen and chest.

Feel every aspect of your back,

Core and chest soften and fill with a deep sense of calm and peace.

Now feel peaceful relaxation move into your shoulders,

Sinking deep into your shoulders.

Feel serene relaxation like golden honey travel from your shoulders down your arms to the elbows,

Forearms,

Wrists,

Hands and fingers.

Feel peaceful relaxation move into your throat and neck.

Feel calm and relaxation move up the back of your neck into your scalp as it spreads across and soothes your entire scalp.

Feel relaxation move into your forehead and brow.

Feel the muscles around your eyes and your cheeks soften and relax.

Soften and relax your mouth and jaw.

Notice that peaceful relaxation permeates your entire body now from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.

Take a few moments of quiet now with this beautiful sense of complete relaxation and peace.

Enjoy your day.

You you Now it's time to begin the process of returning to your day Feel gratitude that you have set aside a few moments to take good care of yourself And that you can carry these benefits with you throughout your day As you bring this inner journey to a close Remember that you can access this experience and enter this room Any time you feel the need and immediately connect with a sense of peace and calm Now stretch your body And slowly open your eyes Have a beautiful peaceful day
