There is so much going on in this world that feels stressful and discombobulating. I believe that learning to elevate our levels of self-love and appreciation for who and what we are is essential work in the creation of a harmonious, balanced experience in this life. May this guided meditation help you feel an increased sense of loving-kindness and inner peace.

Welcome my dear,

Take a wee moment,

Get yourself as comfortable as you can,

Whether you're sitting or lying down.

Let your hands rest gently and if it feels right for you,

Gently close your eyes.

Let's begin by drawing in a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold just for a moment and then exhale fully through your mouth.

Let yourself arrive,

Let the days soften,

Just let your spirit settle into this sacred space of presence.

With every breath,

Give yourself permission to simply be.

Now I invite you to bring your awareness to your heart space,

You might want to place one hand over your heart and one over your belly.

Feel your breath rising and falling beneath your palms,

A reminder that you are alive,

That you are here,

That you are enough.

Now imagine a warm glowing light forming in the centre of your chest.

This light holds the energy of unconditional love,

It's soft,

Safe,

Steady.

With each inhale,

Let it expand,

With each exhale,

Let it fill your entire body.

Gently repeat to yourself,

I am worthy of love,

Just as I am.

I give myself the love I so freely give to others.

I am my own source of kindness,

Compassion and care.

Let these words settle deep within you,

Let them take root.

You are already enough.

And now shift your awareness to your body,

Notice any places where you might be holding tension,

Your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders and your belly,

And simply invite those places to soften,

There's nothing you need to carry alone.

There's no pressure here.

Visualise yourself floating on calm,

Warm water,

Completely supported,

The weight of the world lifted.

Ease is not something to earn,

It's something to align.

Repeat the following silently to yourself,

I invite ease into every breath,

Every moment,

Every part of my being.

It is safe to slow down,

It is safe to rest.

Just let yourself linger here,

Weightless,

Peaceful,

Free.

Now gently shift your awareness to the present moment.

Notice what's around you,

Within you,

Supporting you.

Bring to mind something,

Something big or small that you're grateful for.

A person,

A moment,

A feeling,

Or simply the breath you're taking now.

Feel that gratitude in your heart.

Let it ripple through your entire body like sunlight spreading across the sky.

Now bring to mind a second thing you're grateful for,

And then a third.

Let your heart expand with appreciation.

Let gratitude become your inner landscape.

Gently repeat to yourself,

I am grateful for this moment.

Gratitude fills my heart and uplifts my spirit.

There is beauty here.

There is love here.

There is peace here.

Now bring your awareness back to your breath.

Feel it moving gently through your body,

Steady and strong.

You've awakened love.

You've invited ease.

You've embodied gratitude.

This energy is yours.

You can return to it anytime.

And so take another nice deep breath in,

And a long,

Gentle exhale out.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes a wee bit.

Maybe stretch,

Maybe roll your shoulders gently.

When you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes,

Returning to your day with a heart full of love,

A body full of ease,

And a spirit anchored in gratitude.

You are love.

You are light.

And this moment is your sanctuary.

Much love to you,

My dear.
