Hello my dear,
This guided meditation is all about increasing your levels of calmness and happiness.
So let's begin now.
Find somewhere comfortable to sit.
You might like to loosen any tight clothing or use a blanket as your body temperature can sometimes drop while meditating and relaxing.
Sit up as straight as comfortably possible,
Gently closing your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
The following breathing exercise helps you to relax your body and your mind.
So you're going to breathe in for the count of 4,
Hold the breath for the count of 4 and then exhale slowly for the count of 8.
Again repeat this process,
Breathing in for the count of 4,
Holding at the top for the count of 4 and then breathe out for the count of 8.
Bring your attention to your face,
Are you holding any tension or tightness in your jaw,
Behind your eyes or in your forehead?
If so,
Just allow those areas to soften and relax.
Now allow your lips and your cheeks to relax and begin to form a wee bit of a smile.
You may like to think of something amusing or simply the love you have for your family or your friends.
Simply focus on whatever brings up a happy memory or feeling for you.
If you're holding any tension in any part of your body,
Allow your smile to soften that area now.
Allow the muscles to soften and relax,
Staying as long as you need at each area of your body until you relax completely.
When you finish relaxing one tight area,
Move to the next area that is tense.
Settle into the muscles and allow them to relax.
Now bring your awareness to your heart and feel the smile and happiness in your heart.
You might even like to visualize your heart chakra opening or pulsating and expanding with love energy.
Perhaps you'd like to visualize this heart energy as pink and green light.
The pink light represents unconditional love and the green light is the color of healing.
Hold this focus for a few moments,
Focusing on the love in your heart center.
You are being fed thoughts as a whole to the Elaine and you have resulted in a packaging The following are some affirmations to help you feel happier and calmer throughout your day.
You can repeat in your mind after each affirmation.
I am happy and relaxed despite my outer circumstances.
I find it easy to be calm,
Happy and smile often.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
Happiness comes easily to me.
When I smile,
The whole world smiles with me.
Gently bring your awareness back to your face.
Are you feeling happier,
Lighter,
More at ease?
When you leave this meditation,
You'll find it easier to smile and to be happier throughout your day.
It's now time to leave this meditation.
Softly opening your eyes,
Reacquainting yourself with where you're sitting,
Coming back to full waking consciousness.
