Before we begin,
Find a comfortable place where you feel safe,
Warm and secure.
Make sure this place is quiet and if you like,
Feel free to light up some incense or a natural scented candle or if you like,
You can burn any essential oil of your preference.
Doing this will help you to have a better experience since the smell is the sense of the root chakra or maladhara chakra.
Ensure to set up a mini retreat atmosphere for yourself.
Trust that you deserve this special moment in your day.
Now choose whether to sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor or to sit in whichever position you feel more comfortable in.
Make sure to keep a tall spine and place your hands on your lap or on top of your thighs.
Once you feel comfortable,
Take three deep breaths.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
One more time.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your through your mouth slowly begin to close your eyes if you like and bring your consciousness inward sense your energy begin to deepen your breath now breathing through your nose and exhale and through your nose bring your hands to your lower belly right above your pubic bone and imagine that your belly is a balloon this balloons inflates every time that you inhale and it deflates every time that you exhale taking a moment here begin to inhale filling your belly expand filling up your hands and exhale allow your belly to relax your hands fall back into your abdomen inhale and through your nose allow the belly to expand and exhale belly relaxes inhale through your nose belly expands and exhale your belly relaxes one more time inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose continue to breathe on your own filling this movement picturing this balloon inflating and deflating as you continue to breathe bring your attention to the tip of your nose this is going to help you to keep your mind clear from distracting thoughts but if any unwanted thought comes into your mind just observe this thought and allow it to pass by a balanced root chakra muladhara provides a sense of stability grounding and security it can help you eliminate feelings like fear anxiety and also it can help you release yourself from the state of survival with a steady breath begin to visualize a sphere of shiny red light at the base of your spine this little ball is circulating in the area of your root chakra but with every breath you can see the sphere become bigger expanding in size and brightness allow your hands to return to your lap and continue to pay attention to this sphere of pure red light with your next inhale imagine a small tendril of red energy growing from the center of the red sphere that you find in your root chakra this tendril of light begins to grow bigger and longer and it begins to branch into the earth onto the ground this tendril is connected to you the small tendril of light begins to travel all the way down and soon it begins to expand around it begins to grow like roots and it finally reaches the earth's core you begin to make a connection with earth through this tendril of light that is connected to you but it is also connected to earth allow yourself allow your energy to connect to the energy of the earth allow your energy to mingle with the energy of the mother earth let this energy nurture you let it give you the energy that you need to keep moving forward let it give you the security that you yearned for the care that you want and deserve feel yourself getting all of this energy through this connection that you are creating let all the mother earth's goodness flow up to you into your body and receive this energy all of this goodness with gratefulness in your heart see the now tendrils of light travel up to you to your body now you are filled with this red and even shinier light enjoy the warmth the security that this energy offers you and now picture yourself standing in front of a mirror observe your reflection you see yourself still right in front of you you are seeing yourself filled with this healing red light observe yourself take a moment to look at yourself in the eyes and begin to recite to yourself the following affirmations or mantras i am aware of the feeling of security and i want it in my life i deserve the best that life has to offer my basic needs are always met and i am so grateful for it i am surrounded by love care and abundance i am responsible for my life and i can cope with anything that life brings to me i embrace change and i surrender to divine intervention my body is becoming more and more important to me i care for myself with love allow this mantras to enter your subconscious mind feel them in your body and slowly begin to bring your attention to your breath to your body's energy with a deep inhale pay attention to your physical self and finally allow your eyes to open on the exhale may you continue to take the necessary steps so you can bring yourself groundingness security and love in your life your root chakra should be balanced now namaste
