Today I will be guiding you through a visualization meditation about going with the flow.
During times of uncertainty we tend to forget that swimming against the current just brings us more stress and anxiety.
Let me help you stay on your divine path as you allow the currents of life to take you where you need to be.
Sit or lie down on a place you find quiet and comfortable.
Begin to notice your breathing as you inhale and exhale.
Now close your eyes if that is comfortable for you and inhale,
Exhale.
As you inhale allow your belly to expand and as you exhale notice how your belly deflates.
Your body is now starting to relax as you continue to breathe.
You inhale tranquility and exhale worry.
Allow yourself to be present right this moment.
And whatever thoughts are passing through your mind acknowledge them and let them go.
You can repeat this letting go throughout this practice.
Continue to inhale and exhale.
Now in your mind's eyes picture a river.
This river has the clearest water that you have ever seen.
Take a moment to observe how it flows.
Notice the energy of the moving water.
Proceed to step into the flowing river of life.
Allow your body to lay and float and give all your trust to this beautiful river.
This river is holding you,
Hugging you and you are enjoying the refreshing waters,
The purity of the river.
Allow yourself to relax and to be at ease as you move downstream.
As you surrender your body is moving with the flow.
Give up your control and let the river take you where it will.
There is no rush to get to the finish line.
Just enjoy the trip and relax.
As you are being pulled by the current there is no swimming against your destiny.
You trust the wisdom of nature.
Let the river wash away any negativity,
Stress,
Pain,
Anguish.
Let its guidance take you to your happy place where you feel taken care of.
A place to replenish your energy and feel your heart with love.
There might be some big rocks or downfalls in your way and you might be tempted to swim upstream to avoid these obstacles.
But obstacles are always going to be there.
They are part of life.
The river of life will guide you.
There is no need to worry because it has you in its arms.
You are being held and protected.
Feel the immense love.
Feel the peace.
Just feel it.
Allow the feeling of trust and relaxation to keep growing more and more.
Now you are arriving at your destination.
You are so relaxed and so refreshed.
You have washed away all of your worries,
All of the anxiety and everything that was weighing you down.
Slowly start to deepen your breath and step outside the river.
Begin to come out with serenity and a smile on your face.
Know that from now and on everything will be okay.
Gently bring small movements to your fingers and toes and open your eyes if they were closed.
May you always remember to go with the flow.
