Welcome to this slow morning meditation.
For this meditation,
There won't be too much guidance from me.
I will give you the time and the space.
To invite slowness and softness into your morning.
We'll start by finding a comfortable seated position.
Keeping the spine upright.
Grounding the sit bones into the surface beneath you.
Then rising up through each vertebrae.
All the way up to the crown of the head.
And as you notice this length.
Noticing the space in between each vertebrae.
Gently allow the eyes to fully shut.
Or a lowering the gaze.
Allowing your attention to tune inwards.
As you sit here for the first few moments,
Just notice what happens in the body.
Notice what comes up for you.
Now gently bringing your awareness to your breath.
On the inhale,
The body expands,
Creating space.
On the exhale,
The body softens.
Without collapse.
Allow there to be space.
And fluidity.
Allowing the breath to move like waves.
Flowing calmly.
Up and down.
Along with the tie.
Now noticing your mental state.
The thoughts in your mind.
Notice the speed at which these thoughts are coming in.
Are they fast or is it relatively slow?
Thank you.
There's no need to judge or to fix.
But rather noticing.
Allowing it to be there.
Just as it is.
There's no right or wrong,
Good or bad here.
At the moment Just noticing.
Bringing awareness.
The body,
The breath and the mind.
Together we'll take two more rounds of breath here.
I'll invite you to bring movement into the fingertips and the toes.
Maybe some slow shoulder roll.
Maybe taking the arms overhead or stretch.
When the time feels right for you,
You can gently open the eyes.
Coming back into the environment around you.
I will leave you here today.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation and I wish you a great day ahead.
