Welcome to this meditation.
Today we'll be looking at the feeling of aliveness and the feeling of aliveness is something that most of us strive to feel.
We want to be alive.
We want to feel our experiences.
You want to make memories and really,
Really feel into them.
But so often,
Sometimes this feeling of aliveness is blocked.
We don't allow ourselves to feel the full range of our emotions.
We don't allow ourselves to be ourselves.
And so often this can be blocking us from truly experiencing and feeling aliveness.
So for today,
We'll just tap into that feeling.
And just in your own space.
And so for today,
We'll take a moment to tap into that feeling.
Just in your own space.
And silence and stillness.
Finding a comfortable seated position with the sit bones grounded and the spine tall.
Settle into your seat.
Then when you're ready you can start to close the eyes or if that's too much you can lower the gaze.
And just noticing where the breath is at the moment.
Take a deep inhale in.
And a full exhale out.
A deep inhale in.
And an exhale out.
We'll breathe in for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5 thoughts.
Exhale for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
Pause.
Exhale 6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Last one.
Inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
Pause.
Exhale 7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Deep inhale in.
And exhale.
Finding your natural rhythm of breath.
And just noticing the body and the breath where you are right now.
And sometimes feeling aliveness in our day-to-day lives starts with being present Finding the simplicities.
That we can find.
In our lives and looking at it with curiosity,
With wonder,
With awe.
And noticing that these qualities can exist in the smallest of moments.
Maybe it's something in nature.
Something but kids,
Something in your city.
Something with people.
There's always little pockets of information that we can get.
Information that we can use to find aliveness,
Wonder and awe.
With what we already have.
Maybe it starts with being present.
Truly attentive.
Present to the small details.
Presence without distraction.
But pure attention and focus.
And as you feel into this moment right now Notice what might be going on in the body.
Maybe it's a softening Maybe it's relaxation,
Spaciousness,
Calm,
Openness.
Or maybe it might even be tension,
Tightness.
Just notice without trying to label.
There's no good or bad.
And just welcoming everything that arises in the moment.
You And with each breath you take,
Notice the expansion in the body and the softening as you exhale.
Noticing the power of the breath.
Noticing that it can guide us and hold so much wisdom for us.
Regulating us at every second.
Take one last inhale in.
And full exhale out.
Starting to bring movement into your fingertips and the toes.
Maybe a stretch if that feels comfortable for you.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation and I hope you have a great day ahead.
