Sit or lie down in a comfortable position with your back straight and your hands resting gently in your lap or by your sides.
Close your eyes and take a moment to settle into your body.
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling slowly through your nose and exhaling gently through your mouth.
With each exhale,
Release any tension or stress you may be holding in your body.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale,
Calm,
Peace,
Joy,
Exhale,
Stress,
Tension and anything else that may be holding you down.
Now bring your attention to your heart centre.
Imagine each breath flowing in and out of your heart,
Filling it with love and compassion.
And as you breathe in,
Feel your heart expanding with warmth.
And as you breathe out,
Send that love back out in the world.
Breathe in,
Feel your heart expanding with warmth.
Breathe out,
Send that love back into the world.
Take a moment to feel gratitude for this time,
For the time you have set aside for yourself and to connect with your higher self.
Express gratitude for your body,
For your mind and the opportunity to experience this present moment.
Slowly,
Now scan your body from head to toe,
Bringing your awareness to each part.
If you notice any areas of tension or discomfort,
Imagine a warm,
Healing light surrounding those areas,
Soothing and releasing any tension.
Scan your body from head to toe and soothe any areas that need to be healed.
As you immerse yourself in this peaceful setting,
Bring to mind any limiting belief or negative thought pattern that you wish to release.
Observe these thoughts without judgment,
Acknowledging they no longer serve you.
Replace those limiting thoughts with positive affirmations that will help you connect to your higher self.
Repeat affirmations after me.
