Motivation is like brushing your teeth.
We need it every single day.
So what can we do to be on top of our game?
And what about the days when we don't feel like working towards our goal?
Doubt ourselves or just lack inspiration.
Hopefully these tips and tricks help you to get started towards your vision and stay motivated.
When your current situation is difficult and you want to change for the better,
If there is pain and discomfort and there is an urge to be in a better place,
You have to pull your socks up and get motivated every day to put in the work.
This kind of motivation is called pushed by pain.
Now there is another kind of motivation when you have the desires to go from good to great.
You already have a decent job but you want to own the business of your dreams.
Where you already are a column writer and now you want to be an author.
When you are in a good place but you still want to go to a better place because you think you deserve better.
In either ways,
The underlying factor is that you think you deserve better.
And if you are here listening to this,
You already do because you have the urge to change your life.
And you are looking for tips and tricks to elevate your life.
So jump right in and let's see how can we get motivated,
Stay motivated and get things done.
The first step is to get inspired by success around you.
Now this can be success of ordinary or extraordinary people.
It can be the boy next door or it could be a celebrity,
A sports personality,
A famous actor.
When you listen a podcast of a broke person who is now running a multi-million dollar business.
Or a homeless person who is now a world class singer.
You instantly give your brain a message that if they can do it,
Why not me?
Look for more such inspiration and more such information so that you can make this a doable reality.
Step two is setting yourself up for success.
And this also means your environment.
So if you want to go running in the morning,
Set up your workout clothes a night before.
If you want to work on a book,
Create a space with all your needs where you can write without distraction.
Even if it's for a limited time.
If you want to go to a networking event,
Be sure to have your visiting cards.
And your pitch ready so that you make the most of the event.
Basically if knowledge is the king,
Preparation is the queen.
Preparing for something makes so much of a difference in your confidence level,
Your self esteem and even in your aura.
So don't take preparation lightly.
The third step,
Take tiny steps but even one step counts.
The only way to get productivity momentum is to take the first step.
Did you ever notice that when you organize one drawer of your clothes,
You end up organizing the whole room?
Or if you start cleaning one corner of your house,
You end up cleaning the whole house.
It's because you've created momentum.
And the first step,
Which doesn't mean much at the time,
Gets the ball rolling eventually for so much more.
Now step number four is tiny celebration goes a long way.
One of the ways to get motivated is to make the work required or your goal a routine,
A habit.
Something that you do daily.
And to make this,
You need to reward yourself every time you hit a milestone.
Any small progress that you have achieved towards your goal,
Give yourself a tiny treat.
If you woke up early for seven days in a row,
Go to your favorite coffee spot or a desert place to celebrate it.
And the best way to celebrate it is with your clothes on.
So whether it's your best friend or your family member,
Get together and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
The fifth step is distraction free planning.
Now if the goal you're working on is really important to you,
Make it sacred,
Make it holy.
Plan blocks of time where you will not touch your phone or browse on social media for this time.
For example,
If you decide to create something in music or art every evening from seven to nine p.
M.
,
Then no matter what,
Do only that.
No replying to emails,
No checking notification,
No Netflix,
No social media.
Be in the zone and increase your productivity,
Which will eventually help you reach your goal.
Step six,
There will be days when things don't go your way.
There will be times when you're putting in your 100% and things don't move forward.
There may be uncertainties or big hurdles thrown your way.
Stay motivated in these times.
In fact,
It's even more essential to be motivated and have the eye on the goal on these days.
Accept them,
Learn to navigate them and then stay on track.
So I hope these tips and tricks and steps helped you in getting motivated towards your goal.
