Like a spider,
You can cling to any solid surface.
You have webshooters on your wrists and your strength,
Agility and stamina are all increased to superhuman levels too.
As you sit here,
Just imagine possessing all these powers for a few moments.
Imagine what that would feel like.
But right now,
Like a spider in the centre of her web,
You are completely still,
Aware of your surroundings.
You are ready to spring into action but at the same time you are completely at rest.
Rest here in awareness as long as you need to.
Then,
When you are ready,
Come back to a sense of yourself.
Forget about having Spider-Man's powers.
Feel your own strength as you ready yourself now for the world.
And in your own time,
Take one more deep breath,
Then open your eyes.
