Take a deep breath in,

Then as you let it out allow your eyes to close.

Settle into your body sitting here.

Then begin to imagine that you have the powers of Superman.

You can hear every single thing for miles around you.

Take a few moments to just listen.

You have x-ray vision and you can shoot lasers from your eyes.

You're incredibly strong.

And you are faster than a speeding bullet.

Perhaps most amazingly,

You're able to fly.

Your only weakness is kryptonite.

Imagine having all these powers for a while as you sit here completely at rest.

Although you have these fantastic attributes,

All you want to do right now is to be still.

Just watch your breathing.

In and out.

Again and again.

Every time a thought comes to you,

Just let it drift by.

Whether it be thinking about having the powers of Superman,

Or whether it be some other thought.

Treat each one equally.

Just watch it drift on by.

Don't worry if you're finding yourself distracted by anything at all.

Just remember how strong you are.

That if you wanted to,

You could fly right now.

Let the distractions come,

And let them go.

Any time that you feel life becoming difficult,

Just remember what it's like to have Superman's powers.

And watch as the difficulty passes by.

Now,

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and come back to the room.
