Transcript

Hello and welcome to this meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Sit down or lie down.

And when you find a comfortable position,

Close your eyes.

Let's start by taking a few deep breaths.

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth a few times.

Expanding the belly with each inhalation.

Letting go of any stress,

Any tension with each exhalation.

Slowing down the rhythm of the breath.

Making each inhalation and each exhalation a bit longer and a bit deeper each time.

Allowing the body to relax.

Letting the body know that it is safe to be here today.

That it is safe to relax,

To reset,

To heal.

Taking deeper and longer breaths each time.

Inhaling fresh energy,

Fresh air and exhaling any stale energy,

Any stagnant old energy.

Slowing in this beautiful cycle where you inhale the fresh,

The new and you exhale the old,

What is no longer serving you.

Starting to bring the awareness within to any sensations,

Any emotions,

Any ideas,

Any thoughts that might be going on for you today.

Not judging them,

Not reacting,

Not getting attached to them.

Just observing with love and compassion.

If any thoughts unrelated to this meditation come up,

That's fine.

Just let them come and go like clouds disappearing in the sky.

Bringing the awareness back to the breath,

To the present moment,

To the here and now.

And now visualize yourself in a beautiful meadow where the grass is green,

The sky is blue.

It's a warm sunny day and you can feel the warmth,

The rays of sun caressing your skin.

As you walk barefoot on the fresh grass,

Connecting with Mother Earth with each step,

You keep walking along this meadow and you see a tree in the distance.

A huge tree,

So tall that its branches touch the sky.

Its roots go deep into Mother Earth and you continue to walk along this beautiful meadow,

Getting closer and closer to this beautiful tree until you can touch it with your hand and you find yourself merging with the trunk of this tree and you find yourself inside the trunk of this magical tree.

Taking a few moments here to absorb its beautiful healing energy and taking a deep breath,

You let yourself float.

Let the roots of this tree take you down deep,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep into Mother Earth.

Let yourself float down following the roots of this tree,

Going deeper and deeper into Mother Earth through different layers of the soil,

Feeling the richness,

The healing,

Nurturing energy of Mother Earth until you reach a place where you can see an underground river,

An underground stream.

The water is crystal clear,

So pure,

So clean and you get in the water and take a few moments here to allow the water to purify yourself,

To cleanse you,

To take away any negative energies.

You can even use your hands to wash your face,

Your hair,

Maybe just swim here or immerse yourself completely in the water,

Whatever feels right for you.

Just let the current,

Let this magical water take away any old energies that are no longer serving you.

And now let yourself float and let the current take you even deeper into Mother Earth,

Flowing with the current.

Just let the current take you where you need to go,

Not thinking about the destination,

Just enjoying the ride,

Allowing the current to take you deeper and deeper along this river until you arrive at a beautiful garden.

When you get out of the water and into the shore of this beautiful garden,

This garden is unique to you,

It's your safe space for healing,

To recharge energies.

Just look around and bring your awareness to any images,

To the landscape,

To any sounds,

Any smells,

Any wildlife,

Just enjoy it.

And you start walking along this garden and you see that in the distance there is a cave and you walk towards this cave,

Contemplating the scenery,

The plants,

The flowers,

The trees,

Maybe the animals around you.

And you're getting closer and closer to this cave,

Which has an entrance.

And you get in this cave,

You enter this cave,

And take a few moments here to adjust to the new light.

And again have a look around and contemplate any materials,

Be aware of any smells,

Any sounds,

The temperature,

The light here.

And you see that in the center of the cave there is someone waiting for you,

It's a younger version of yourself,

It's a little kid,

A younger version of yourself.

And just look at it for a second,

Just observe how old is she or he,

What is she doing,

What is she wearing,

How is she feeling.

Just observe,

Just give her your attention.

And you start to approach her,

Getting closer and closer to her,

And ask her,

How is she feeling,

What does she need from you.

Is there anything that she would like you to know,

Is there anything that you would like her to know.

And just allow the communication to flow,

Either with words,

With images,

Maybe just sensations.

And if that feels right for you and for her,

Maybe take her hand,

Give her a hug,

Hold her in your lap,

Only if it feels right for you and for her.

Sometimes we need a bit more time,

If she's not ready or if you're not ready,

That's fine.

Just continue to be there for her,

In whatever way she needs you to be there.

And just allow her to receive the love she deserves,

Let her know that she's safe now,

That you're an adult now,

And that you will be taking care of her,

That you will always be here for her.

And you see that she starts to feeling a bit lighter,

A bit happier,

And she grabs your hand and takes you out of the cave.

And out of the cave,

In this beautiful garden,

She starts to play,

And just let her do whatever she feels like doing.

What does she want to do?

Is she running around?

Is she reading something?

Is she observing nature?

Is she singing?

Is she painting?

What does she want to learn?

What does she want to do?

Just give her that space to express herself,

To unleash her inner talents,

Her inner treasures.

Let her do what she enjoys the most.

Beautiful.

And now it's time to say goodbye.

But before you leave,

Give her a big hug,

Really embracing your inner child,

Feeling like you merge with her,

Like you two are becoming one,

And you are embracing all those inner treasures,

Those talents,

That creativity,

That innocence,

That playfulness.

You might feel it in the heart,

Or the womb area,

Or any other parts of the body.

Really embrace that part of yourself.

See yourself becoming one with it,

Fully integrating all those talents,

That beautiful,

Creative,

Playful energy,

That innocence that we should never lose.

And now it's time to leave the garden,

Back to the river that took you here,

Swimming in the water again,

And letting yourself float.

Let the current take you upstream this time,

Back towards the tree that took you here.

Let the current take you back,

Until you get to that place where you can see the roots of the tree that took you here.

And getting out of the water,

You see that there is a new set of clothes waiting for you on the shore.

And you put on this new set of clothes.

What color are they?

What fabrics?

What style?

And just enjoy your new clothes.

And now approach the roots of the tree,

And let the roots of the tree guide you upwards,

Through the different layers of Mother Earth,

Through the soil,

Back into the trunk of the tree.

And stepping out of the tree now,

And back into the meadow where we started this journey.

Taking a deep breath,

Refreshing,

Energizing,

Invigorating breath this time.

Let's start bringing the awareness to the physical body now.

Bringing your energy,

Your attention to the muscles,

The joints,

The bones in your body.

Starting to move the fingers,

The toes slightly.

Taking any movements that feel right for the body,

Gentle movements.

Taking a gentle stretch,

Or a full body stretch,

A deep stretch if that feels right for you.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and finish this meditation.

Take your time,

No rush.

If you would like to continue in this state of relaxation,

That's perfectly fine,

Allow yourself to do so if you wish.
