Before we embark on this journey,
Get comfortable,
Either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly with air.
Hold for a moment and slowly exhale through your nose,
Letting go of any tension.
Now,
Breathe normally,
Allow your body to relax,
Your mind to soften and your heart to open.
Imagine yourself walking slowly through a sunny orange grove.
The light filters gently through the trees,
Creating patterns on the ground.
You feel the warm earth beneath your feet and the calm presence of nature surrounding you.
With each breath,
You inhale the scent of citrus,
Bright,
Fresh,
Tangy.
It fills your lungs and lifts your spirits.
You walk deeper into the grove,
Completely at ease,
Until you reach a clearing.
In the center stands a beautiful orange tree,
Its branches heavy with ripe fruit.
One orange seems to glow just for you.
You reach up,
Pluck it gently and sit at the base of the tree.
The bark is warm behind your back,
Grounding and strong.
You slowly peel the orange,
A burst of citrus oils is released into the air,
Zesty,
Clean and awakening.
You bring a segment to your lips,
The taste is sweet,
Juicy,
Alive.
As you savor it in your mouth,
You feel a wave of nourishment washing over you.
This moment is just for you.
It's a symbol of care,
Or pausing from the hustle.
Or feeding your body,
Mind and soul with presence and love.
It's a symbol of sweetness and nourishment.
Let that feeling fill you now and repeat silently or out loud the following affirmations.
I am worthy of rest and care.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am open to receiving love,
Especially from myself.
I am nourished from the inside out.
I am at peace in my own presence.
I am whole even as I grow.
I am grateful for who I am becoming.
I am allowed to slow down.
I am in tune with my needs.
I am gentle with myself.
I am my own safe space.
I am proud of how far I've come.
I am a priority in my own life.
I am deeply connected to my inner wisdom.
I am deserving of kindness and care.
I am learning to love myself more each day.
I am grounded,
Centered and calm.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

The orange is finished,
But its sweetness lingers.
