
I AM Yoga Nidra™ - Infinite Energy

This spiritually-based nidrā practice is designed to encourage the unlocking of an unlimited potential of energy from within, through devotion to oneself. In this nidrā, we will journey through the five koshas to support the deepening of inner-connectedness and overall awareness. Find a comfortable position lying down, or set up in the most supportive position available to you. Affirmation: I trust that my devotion to myself unlocks an infinite source of energy within me.

Welcome to the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra.
I am Yoga Nidra.
Find a comfortable position lying on your back or any other position that feels supportive for you.
You may cover up in a blanket and use an eye pillow as well.
Once you feel comfortable,
Close your eyes and quiet your mind.
Let go of all thoughts,
Worry,
And tension.
Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.
And again,
Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.
Let go even more.
Feel a deep sense of contentment and peace in your heart.
And bring now your intention into your awareness.
I trust that my devotion to myself unlocks an infinite source of energy within me.
We will move our attention into the body to release trapped energy and to move deeper into total relaxation.
If you cannot have undue pressure in the head for any reason,
It is important that you breathe normally as you tense the body.
Now as you inhale,
Make fists and deliberately induce stiffness and tension throughout your shoulders,
Arms,
And fists.
Tighten,
Tighten even more,
And hold the breath if that's safe for you.
And now let go completely.
Relax.
And on your next exhalation,
Relax even more.
Let go.
Observe and feel the flood of energy in your arms.
This time as you inhale,
Deliberately induce stiffness and tension in hips,
Legs,
And feet.
Tighten,
Tighten and hold.
Hold.
And now let go completely.
Relax.
And observe the flood of energy in your legs.
This time,
Tighten and tense the entire body as you inhale.
Arms,
Hands,
Shoulders,
Feet,
Legs,
Face,
Buttocks.
Tighten and hold.
Hold.
A little longer.
And let go completely.
Relax and adjust yourself if needed.
And on your next exhalation,
Let go even more.
Observe and feel the flood of energy extending to all the muscles,
Nerves,
And cells of your entire body.
Let your whole body melt into the flood of energy.
Release any holding anywhere.
All excess tension and holding carried out with each exhaling breath.
Feel your outward attention moving inward.
Sense all sensations.
Feel it all and resist nothing.
As we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,
Try to remain as motionless as possible.
If you need to move or make an adjustment,
Do so mindfully.
And return to stillness as soon as you are able.
Resolve to remain awake,
Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.
And allow your entire body to respond to my words directly,
Non-mentally.
Allow any disturbances,
External or internal,
To draw you more deeply within.
In yoga nidra,
You enter the subconscious pranic field.
Let your mind merge and melt into the energy body.
And go beyond the boundaries of the body and mind.
Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.
Do absolutely nothing from now on.
Simply relax.
Dive into the deepest state of tranquility,
Stillness,
And peace in the third eye.
Your consciousness is now in direct communion with your energy body.
Now follow my guidance as we begin the mantra breath.
Breathing in fully,
Let the belly rise on the inhalation.
And as you exhale,
Let the belly fall as you complete the outgoing breath.
Continue with long,
Slow,
Steady breaths,
Emptying the lungs completely.
On the next breath in,
Silently breathe in the word trust to yourself three times until the lungs are full.
And on the breath out,
Silently repeat the word trust until the exhalation is complete.
Breathe in,
Trust,
Trust,
Trust.
Breathe out,
Trust,
Trust,
Trust.
And continue.
Breathe easily and naturally as you repeat.
Deeply engaged and completely absorbed.
Feel every cell of your body deeply hearing and receiving this word.
And now breathe normally.
And notice how the energy of this word is transmuted into sensations in the body.
Let go into it.
Let go into the silence,
Stillness,
Expanding everywhere.
Enter an effortless state of being.
And now bring your breath into awareness.
And specifically,
The breath is felt in the nostrils.
Sense the movement and stillness,
The coolness and warmth,
Or whatever is present.
Devote your attention to the range of sensations derived from the breath through moving in the nostrils.
With your next inhalation,
Let attention follow the flow of the breath into the nostrils,
Back into the sinus cavities,
And down to the back of the throat.
From here,
Attention curls forward into the mouth to experience the roof of the mouth,
The teeth,
Gums,
And lips.
Feeling all the experiences as a loosely held field of energy,
A nebulous cloud of ever-changing sensation.
Follow the next exhale forward and outside of the mouth as it broadens upward to include the upper lip,
Nose,
And cheeks.
Let attention travel to the eyes,
Forehead,
Temples,
Feeling the sensations in the scalp and down the back of the head.
Resting here,
Relax and feel the various sensations present in the entire head.
Notice how this mini-galaxy of sensations arises in an unbounded space,
Effortlessly present to all that is within it.
Relax into and as this space,
Perfectly open and allowing of all experiences arising in the area of the head.
Inhale and slowly and softly guide attention to the pit of the throat.
And simply relax into the experience present at the pit of the throat.
Allow attention to flow outward along the collarbones to the shoulders,
Down along the arms,
Wrists,
Palms,
And fingers.
Relax here and remain available to the experience,
Not looking for anything in particular.
Simply remain relaxed and receptive to what is,
Whether that is something or nothing.
Allow focus to broaden to include the torso and move attention down the torso to the pubic bone in the front and the tailbone in the back.
Until the entire torso,
Shoulders,
And arms are bathed in an evenly hovering awareness.
And now notice how the entire experience of the torso and arms is yet another galaxy of sensations,
Floating in a vast and boundless field of awareness.
Draw attention to the surrounding spaciousness and be the space in which this experience is happening.
Let go.
Be vast.
Release attention down into the bowl of the pelvis,
Behind the pubic bone in the front,
To the sacrum in the back.
Feeling the sensations and spaciousness present in the front of the hip creases,
The buttocks,
The area of the groins,
And everywhere in and around the pelvic girdle.
Allow attention to fill the thighs,
Knees,
Shins,
Ankles,
And feet,
The entire lower body,
Pelvis,
Legs,
And feet bathed in awareness.
Relax into and as the space in which experience arises.
Now allow a blanket of attention to cover the feet,
Ankles,
And shins,
Thighs,
And hips.
A blanket of attention covering the belly,
Chest,
Arms,
And head.
Breathe and experience the entirety of the body.
Every sensation and every cell felt simultaneously and equally.
Notice how this experience,
The experience of the entire body,
Is happening in a vast,
Boundless field of evenly hovering awareness.
Surrender now the entire weight of the body to gravity and feel the whole body weighted,
Sinking down.
With each breath in,
Sense a cushion of vital energy surrounding and permeating the body until the entire body is felt as a pulsing,
Tingling energy field.
Energy surrounding every cell of the body equally.
The whole body breathing in.
The whole body breathing out.
Life force growing with each breath in and each breath out.
Sensing the shift now into the mental body.
Notice the emptiness of the body,
The silence of the mind,
The mental field held in absolute stillness and inner tranquility.
The mind has given up its internal dialogue,
Thoughts and images moving through without comment or judgment.
Entering the subtler dimension of the wisdom body.
Remain the neutral observer.
Receiving what is exactly as it is,
Unconditioned by the past.
Feel yourself freed from limiting tendencies and the unconscious forces of the past.
You are now free to create your experience of life.
You are the creator of your experience of life.
Moving from conditioned knowledge to the knowing of the self within.
Dissolving into the bliss body.
Sense the light of the Source illuminating the entire being.
You have become one.
You are an emanation of the whole.
The whole being luminous,
Radiant,
Shining the light of illuminated consciousness.
Focus your inward gaze deeper into the third eye.
You have entered the sacred space where unmanifest potentiality has become manifest actuality.
Establish yourself in the unmanifest part of your being and allow the duality of the mind to merge into the oneness of spirit.
Let go into the experience so totally that you become the experience.
It is here that your intentions are actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.
Now bring your intention into your awareness.
I trust that my devotion to myself unlocks an infinite source of energy within me.

Go even deeper into the third eye,
The mysterious command center,
And let it carry out your intentions,
Prayers,
And affirmations.
Hold your intention firmly and clearly with deep feeling and faith.
Establish it at the altar of your heart.
In the third eye,
You are empowered to create what you pray for,
Visualize,
And affirm.
Your prayers and intentions are carried out at the deepest core of your being.
Feel now your intention is being assimilated and adopted by all levels of your body and being,
Completely integrated,
Totally digested,
And fully actualized.
Establish yourself firmly in faith and trust to receive the grace,
Protection,
And guidance of the higher self within you.
The more often that you go to your source,
The easier it will be to return there and the longer you can stay there.
You have now prepared the base from where you can carry out interactions with life and interpersonal relationships with the integrative power of love and source within.
You are the emissary of light and love.
Carry it everywhere you go and to everyone you meet.
If you have an area that you feel needs healing,
Physical,
Mental,
Or emotional,
Allow this light and love to flow into that area now.
Return to the third eye where energies from all the meridians come into deep unification,
Integration,
Harmony,
And balance and establish a whole new relationship with reality,
Regardless of how it begins to show up in your life.
Knowing that you are soul,
You can witness life's experiences and let them pass by.
The right response and the right actions will come through with that clarity.
Keep your heart open to all conditions.
At this time,
Feel the presence of any guides,
Mentors,
Teachers,
Or family members you feel connected to.
You may sense this as a universal force or energy surrounding you,
Guiding you,
And know that this presence surrounds you always.
You can draw upon it at any time.
If there is any guidance to be received at this time,
Either as a felt sense,
Words,
Or images,
Allow yourself to receive it now.
Otherwise,
Simply rest back in the grace and protection of presence and begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.
And ever so slowly,
Feel yourself beginning to rise to the surface of awareness.
Sense the body.
Notice the quality of the air as it touches the skin.
And gradually,
You can begin to move as if you're waking from a restful sleep,
If it feels comfortable for you,
Turning over onto your right side and curling into the fetal position and bringing your intention into your awareness once again.
I trust that my devotion to myself unlocks an infinite source of energy within me.
Every time that you find yourself in reaction,
You are empowered to replace it with your intention,
Regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed.
Know that something deep within you has shifted to connect you with your intention.
Bring now a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring your attention back to the body.
You can remain as you are,
Or with your eyes closed,
Gradually make your way to a comfortable seat.
Notice the body,
The breath,
The mind.
Notice your heartbeat.
And you can remain here in meditation for as long as you wish.
