Together, we will remember that being highly sensitive is powered and nurtured with love, and the power of the breath to connect us to our highest power and keep us grounded, when we may feel a bit overwhelmed by our gift. We will end on a note of gratitude, to remind us of the power of our gift.

Welcome,

All of you,

All of your energy.

Being highly sensitive is a gift.

It's a gift to see and feel and be with all.

But floating through a world that wants so much from us can be energetically draining and emotionally exhausting.

So together,

In this practice,

We will find our way home.

Sitting cross-legged on a chair with your feet flat on the floor or lying down,

Take a moment to find the breath in whatever form it may be.

Here,

The heart will rate and allow its beating to slowly engulf you,

Embrace you,

So that its stillness,

Silence brings you into a state of peace.

Feel its warmth and let the eyes gently close,

Sink into your breath,

The comfort of your breath,

Knowing it is what gives you life,

Gives you love.

Feel it travel through the space in the body,

The space that allows you,

Empowers you to connect with others,

To be sensitive,

To feel all that is around you,

To be your truest self,

The self that loves all unconditionally.

This space in the body is sacred and when you fill it with love,

Everything that is around us,

That passes through us,

Is also treated with love.

Love is the reason we are highly sensitive,

Even when all of what we sense,

Whether it is ours or not,

Is overwhelming.

In these moments,

We come back to the breath.

The breath reminds us to stay connected to the body,

Stay connected to the present,

To the stillness we create within us,

And to stay connected to the universe.

Right here,

Right now,

We're going to inhale and bring the breath up to the crown of your head,

Feeling your connection to the universe,

Letting its light flood you.

And when you exhale,

We're going to let that breath travel through the body all the way to your feet,

Rooting yourself to the earth.

This is the strength of the universe.

Again,

Let's take an inhale all the way to the top of the head.

Feel the love of the universe,

And on the exhale,

Let it flood through the body,

All the way to the feet,

Grounding us to the earth,

To the present moment,

To a sense of stillness.

This is love.

And again,

Inhale all the way to the top of the head,

To the crown,

To the highest power,

The highest sense of self,

And exhale,

Feeling the warmth of the breath,

The warmth of love,

Feeling that space,

That sacred space,

With all of this love,

All the way to your feet,

Grounding into the earth again.

This is openness,

The gift of our openness that is within you and around you.

We'll take a moment here to pay ourselves a little gratitude for bringing all of our energy into the world,

And fulfilling our space within us and around us with love.

Feel that sense of connection.

Don't fear it.
