So when was the last time that you said something positive to yourself?
Or you said,
Hey,
You did a good job.
Or wow,
Look at all you have accomplished.
Or you just said,
Hey,
Maybe you didn't do it the right way.
Or you think you didn't do it the right way.
But at least you learned from this situation.
So this week I got a mindful challenge for you.
And this mindful challenge,
Well,
You're going to need a mirror.
So I'm going to give you a couple of seconds to find a mirror.
And whenever you can,
Just take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Close your eyes here.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Take another deep breath in and now out.
Now look at yourself in the mirror and just admire yourself.
Don't say anything that you don't like because you came here to this world and you chose everything or every part of your body.
So just look at yourself in front of the mirror.
What do you like about yourself?
Take a few seconds to at least say two things.
Now take another deep breath in and out through your mouth.
What do you love about your personality?
Now take another deep breath in and out through your mouth.
What do you love about your body?
Now repeat after me.
I'm perfect just the way I am.
I'm proud of myself because I've gone through so much and I made it out and I learned that's the most important thing.
I love myself and I'm perfect just the way I am.
Not what society told me what perfect is.
I'm perfect because there's only one of me on this planet and I came here to be myself.
And I am myself.
When you finish hug yourself give yourself a huge hug.
Say thank you to your body because it works without you telling it to work.
Say thanks to your body because it allows you to do everything you ask it to.
Say thanks to yourself because you're strong and you're happy.
You're beautiful or handsome.
So give yourself that big hug.
Look at yourself in the mirror just one last time.
Say thanks to your soul.
Say thanks to your journey because you are where you're supposed to be.
Look at yourself and just thank yourself.
