Pain?

I think we all have felt it before.

I think we just can't describe that feeling.

But I think we have all felt it.

It's kind of like this pain in your heart.

Your heart is just burning or sometimes it's just like melting.

I don't know how to explain it.

I just know that it hurts.

And if I explain what it feels for me,

Then I will take away what you feel from it.

Because maybe pain for me could be my heart burning,

But pain for you could be your heart aching or your body aching.

We all express pain in a different way,

But we have all felt it.

But why?

Why do we feel it?

Well,

My first theory is that we don't listen.

We don't listen to that voice,

To that consciousness inside ourselves telling us,

Hey,

Don't do it.

Don't go out with that person.

Don't.

Don't take that job.

Don't get that place.

Don't go there.

Well,

We just don't listen and we do it anyways.

And when we do,

We feel that pain.

Or maybe we feel pain because we started making plans.

It could be with someone or it could be alone.

And we just start building up this illusion that we're going to get this and we're going to do it.

And then when it doesn't happen or we don't go out with that person,

Well,

Things don't go our way.

We feel pain.

But not only that.

There are so many reasons to why we feel pain.

Maybe we're scared.

Maybe someone has passed away.

Maybe it's a breakup.

Maybe we lost our job.

Pain is there.

So my best theory is why?

Because we have to learn from it.

We have to learn from that situation.

We have to learn from the pain.

We cannot hide from it.

If we do,

Then in the long run,

It's going to get worse.

I always tell people that it's like Pandora's box.

And once we open it,

Well,

We feel pain.

Yeah,

But if we don't open it,

We're going to feel even more and more and more pain.

So we need to express our pain.

I'll give you an example.

Recently,

I knew I shouldn't have gone out with someone.

And I did.

But I knew deep inside,

He wasn't for me.

And I felt pain when everything ended.

I was hurt.

So I asked myself,

Why am I hurt?

Why do I feel pain?

And you have to keep digging and digging and digging to the root of the problem.

It could be fear,

Embarrassment.

But you gotta keep digging.

Ask yourself,

Reflect,

Meditate.

Once you stop digging,

You concluded with what you learned from it.

What you learned from it so it doesn't happen again.

And if you have to cry,

Hey,

Cry.

It's okay to feel.

We are not robots.

And it's time to open Pandora's box.

Even if we feel pain.

But it's time to let go.

To learn.

Take a moment to just sit and think about what has caused you pain.

And what do you have to learn from it.

Close your eyes if you'd like.

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

One more time.

In through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

Take a moment to just reflect.

It's time to let go.

It's time to face those fears.

Even if you're scared to feel pain.

Because it hurts,

I know.

But take a moment to just learn.

And let go.

When you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

And take a few deep breaths in through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

In through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

Thank you so much for listening.
