Congratulations

When was the last time you congratulated yourself? When was the last time you just thanked yourself? When was the last time you just sat down and just smiled? Smiled at yourself? Smiled at all your accomplishments? And when was the last time you did something for yourself? It's crazy how we don't see it. It's crazy how we don't see how amazing life is. Yeah it's hard sometimes. Now I'm not saying my life is perfect. What is perfect anyways? I do have my ups and I do have my downs. But I'm always grateful for everything that happens. For my ups and my downs. For even those days where I just wanted to stay in bed. Today I just wanted to tell you, Hey congratulations! Because look at all you have accomplished. Just take a second to be like, Wow I used to be there and now I'm here. Congratulations! You're doing things for yourself. You didn't let anyone bring you down. You did it. Celebrate the small accomplishments. Celebrate everything for goodness sake. Celebrate. Because you know why? You survived. You survived today. You survived last night. You did it. What we don't realize is we could die at any moment. Something could happen to us and that's it. We just don't notice that. We notice it when well it might be a little too late. To stop. Enjoy your life with complete gratitude. Because you are where you're supposed to be. And you survived yesterday. You survived today. You did it. Take a moment to remember those small accomplishments. You know what I celebrate? That I get up from my bed every day and I give it my all. My all. Not someone else's all. You woke up. You got up. And you did it. Congratulations. You know my eyes get teary. Because I'm happy. I'm happy for you. So just close your eyes. Sit down. And just breathe. Take a deep breath in through your nose. And out through your mouth. Take a moment to feel that air inside your body. How do you feel while you're breathing? Breathe in and breathe out. Do it one more time. Breathe in and let everything out that doesn't serve you. Let it all go. And take a moment to thank yourself. Congratulations. Because you did it. Thank yourself for anything.
