Welcome to this guided meditation designed to give you hope,
Help you feel inspired and uplifted during a difficult time.
Just begin by finding a comfortable posture,
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Finding warmth.
Just taking your time to ensure that you're most comfortable during this meditation.
When you're ready,
You might like to gently close your eyes or you can leave them open with a gentle gaze.
So just start by centering yourself through being aware and conscious of the natural flow of your breath,
The inhale and the exhale.
Tuning into the subtle quality,
Just inquiring,
Asking yourself,
How does it feel when you inhale,
Comparison to the exhalation?
Is it smooth and even?
Perhaps a little slower,
Gentler at some points?
Or does the breath get stuck at other parts of the flow?
Whatever is happening for you is perfectly okay.
Just remind yourself there's no right or wrong way to breathe.
And often we breathe instinctively in a way that our body tells us we need to.
Just as you're focusing on your breath,
You might like to bring in a feeling of gratitude for the quality of your breath as life giving,
Allowing things to flow,
Allowing tension to release.
As you inhale,
I invite you to inhale the breath of the life surrounding you.
The life around you filled with hope,
Filled with inspiration and joy in the natural environment that surrounds you,
That surrounds the walls of the room that you're in.
Just breathing that in as you inhale.
As you exhale,
Just an opportunity to share,
To give back to nature,
To let go.
And on both the inhale and exhale,
Being aware of the harmonious exchange and connection between you and the environment that surrounds you and all of nature.
Just take some time to ponder this idea.
Whatever is happening within us and around us is in perfect balance the way it should be.
We are forever connected to the external surroundings and in a harmonious exchange with them as you focus on your inhalation and exhalation for a few moments.
Now moving your attention to your body as it's supported by the earth beneath you,
Your connection to the support under you,
And your breath as it connects to your body.
Each breath filling your body,
Your internal organs,
Is supporting you to live the beating of your heart,
All the inner workings of your organs,
Delivering life to you in every moment,
Keeping you going,
Keeping you alive.
Just observing any sensations that come through,
Tuning into anything that arises in your body,
In the sensations.
Not trying to force or change or shift anything if you don't wish to,
Just being curious and present,
Opening to the life that arises within you.
Bringing yourself back to the positioning of your body,
Supported by the surface,
Which is supported by the earth beneath you.
Just thinking and imagining your body and its connection to the earth,
Perhaps with the image of some roots extending from your body into the earth,
Connecting you as you draw in the energy,
The earth's energy drawing into your being,
Enriching and energizing you.
Through this connection,
It also allows you to clear or release anything that you wish,
Anything that no longer serves you,
Anything that you wish to be cleansed of or let go of,
Releasing into the earth.
Perhaps as you exhale,
You might like to remind yourself that you're fully letting go,
Giving to the earth what you no longer need,
With this perfect harmonious exchange with nature and everything that supports you.
And as you inhale,
Drawing everything that you need in,
Naturally,
Spontaneously guiding yourself to just draw in what you most need,
With full trust in the support of the earth and the universe,
Knowing that this guidance and support helps you move towards your higher purpose,
A higher sense of meaning,
Clarity and purity in your direction.
Now I ask you or invite you to just contemplate the idea that during times of unease or crisis,
It's natural to feel or experience a lost sense of security,
Perhaps some uncertainty about what the future holds.
By allowing ourselves to trust in our own body,
Our mind and our whole being and connection to the protection,
Love and security of the universe,
You can always come back to a place of safety and refuge,
A place where you can feel anchored in safety,
In your own internal safety.
From this place,
You can feel safe to build your life,
Stable foundation for the future and to expand your horizons.
I ask you to visualize or imagine right now,
From this safe grounded place where you're supported by the earth under you,
Allow yourself to imagine looking out onto a bright orange sunset in the horizon,
The radiant colors of the sunset,
The yellows,
Oranges and some subtle reds shining through,
Through your connection to the universe,
To nature,
You also connect to this expanding golden red flame of the sun in the horizon,
Allowing it to radiate into your being,
Into your soul,
Into your body.
Just think of this sun,
Its warming presence as the burning potential that sits within you in your life at any moment.
Its radiance filling your mind,
Your body,
Your soul and your deeds,
Everything you do.
As you connect with this image,
Just again allowing its warmth and radiance to fill you,
As you deeply inhale and spread through you and your immediate external surroundings as you exhale.
Just repeating this through the inhale and exhale a few times,
Drawing this energy,
This golden energy in,
Moving it through your surroundings as you exhale.
I give you permission to allow yourself to bring this warming golden light with you through your day,
Along with the knowing that you're supported,
Nurtured and safe,
To expand and enjoy your life.
Bringing this into your day with natural ease,
Spontaneous flow and positive intention.
