Welcome to this guided meditation about helping you find your inner truth.

This meditation is an opportunity to tune into the experience of your thoughts,

Your whole internal experience,

Sensations in the body,

Breath and unpack what holds highest truth and meaning for you in your life.

So just invite you to start by finding a comfortable position either seated or lying down it's optional.

Throughout the meditation you can adjust your posture as necessary just making sure you're comfortable finding a position of optimal comfort.

When you're ready in your own time just closing down the eyes.

Just start by tuning into your breath.

The natural flow on the inhalation and exhalation.

Not trying to change or force any part of your breathing just noticing perhaps noticing the difference of time between the inhalation and exhalation.

Whether your breathing is smooth at some parts,

Perhaps a little less easeful at other parts of the breathing,

Perhaps a subtle rising of the body on the inhalation and a falling,

Sinking,

Softening into the surface beneath you on the exhalation.

Just repeating this a few times body rising on the inhalation and sinking and softening on the exhalation and again rising on the inhalation and softening and sinking on the exhalation.

You might like to deepen your breathing if it feels right for a little more relaxation and ease in the body.

On the inhalation counting the count of four,

Three,

Two,

One and exhaling four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Just repeating this counting four on the inhalation and four on the exhalation a few times.

As you're breathing a little deeper,

Noticing what happens to the quality of your breathing,

The quality of your internal experience.

Just tuning into noticing the quality of your thoughts in this moment.

What is true about your experience in this present moment?

Not trying to force your attention in any direction,

Just noticing perhaps a little effort in the mind applying yourself to this meditation practice.

Thoughts or themes,

Topics of conversation that arise in the mind from your daily life.

Just allowing whatever arises to play out in your mind.

Gentle attention and awareness,

Just noticing.

Checking in with yourself what is true for you in this moment?

What is true for you in your life right now?

I'd like to reflect on different circumstances and situations unpacking the situations in your life.

Some that may be of concern or result in a level of discomfort or stress.

Perhaps other situations or circumstances which are a little more enjoyable or perhaps even just easeful.

Noticing bringing into awareness the role that you play in these circumstances.

How you operate your own internal dialogue about who you are.

Just noticing not trying to change any part of this story.

What role do you play in the circumstances of your life?

Do you make choices and take opportunity from an empowered place?

When you say yes to decisions,

Do you really feel it being a yes in your body and in your mind?

How easy are you able to say no to certain situations or decisions?

Other circumstances you should say no to.

How do you navigate around tricky situations?

What beliefs do you have about your ability to operate in challenging circumstances?

Do you believe that you'll find a way through that you're capable and competent,

Able to make the most of difficult situations?

Or in these situations are you overridden by a fear of not surviving?

Just allowing yourself permission to engage with your own dialogue,

Whatever it might be,

Without judgment,

Just being as it is,

True for you in this moment.

Just inviting you as you're engaging with the narrative,

The circumstances of your life,

Tuning into any areas of discomfort,

Sensations within the body,

Noticing what comes up for you on a physical level when you start questioning the circumstances of your life,

The level of empowerment and agency you operate with across different circumstances and domains.

Often our ability to feel safe,

Secure and empowered can result in feelings and sensations within the abdomen,

The solar plexus area or the upper abdomen,

Resulting sensations potentially some discomfort,

A heaviness or a holding.

Just inviting you to bring the breath into this area,

Taking a nice long deep breath,

Inhaling through the chest,

The lungs,

Through into the upper abdomen,

Expanding the upper abdomen area on the inhalation,

Breathing into any sensations,

Discomfort,

Whatever you notice in the body.

As you exhale,

A nice long slow exhalation,

Just letting the tension out from that area of the body,

Allowing it to soften,

To sink,

To fall.

Repeating this breathing a couple more times,

Nice long slow inhalation,

The breath meeting the upper abdomen area,

Breathing into sensations,

Discomfort,

Anything that is present for you and softening,

Sinking,

Letting go on the exhalation.

Just scanning through any other areas of the body,

Noticing different sensations,

The relative difference between discomfort and other areas of relative ease,

Opening yourself up to whatever you're experiencing in this moment.

There is no right or wrong experience in this meditation practice.

Tuning into the totality of your whole experience,

Sensations in the body,

As you scan through the body,

Noticing any thoughts connected to sensations,

Just tuning into your experience in this present moment,

Asking yourself what is true for you in this present moment,

What is true about your experience,

As you explore your experience,

What are some of the qualities you'd like to cultivate in this meditation practice to bring into your daily life,

What are some qualities that you would like to bring into your daily life to find more ease,

Just a better way to navigate circumstances.

You might even be able to recall circumstances in your life where you have been able to cultivate or utilize these qualities,

Or if not,

What are some ways or opportunities to develop the qualities that you'd like to cultivate.

Just tuning into your experience,

Your awareness,

Your truth in this present moment,

The qualities that you can derive in this present moment,

Opportunities for you to take those into your future circumstances and situations,

You can apply them,

Living in alignment with your truth.

As you explore your experience through meditation,

Perhaps an opportunity to cultivate qualities of self-compassion,

Self-acceptance,

Giving yourself permission to be exactly as you are in the present moment and from moment to moment.

Gaining a picture of how you'd like to show up in the world,

Perhaps even a feeling accompanied by the picture showing up in your truth,

Owning the qualities and the truth you would like to demonstrate throughout circumstances in your life,

An opportunity to be aware of the core values that you bring in,

Just bringing yourself back,

Your attention into the body,

Your breathing,

Direct experience of the positioning of your posture in the space and your surroundings.

In your own time,

Gently arising from the meditation,

Bringing a little light movement into the body,

Allowing yourself the opportunity to integrate the truths exposed through this experience,

How they can serve you in your daily life.

Thank yourself for joining and tuning in.
