When you have experienced something that has turned your life upside down you lose your sense of self. Becoming empowered again means gaining control over one's own life, thoughts, and actions. It supports you in developing self-confidence, self-esteem, and resilience to heal from trauma. You begin to believe in yourself and your abilities to lead a fulfilling and fun life full of joy, love, and delight as you release the pain from your body, mind, heart, and soul.

Hello and welcome to this self-empowerment meditation to support you in feeling empowered and confident in who you are and all that you do.

I'm Chantal and I look forward to taking you through this beautiful meditation.

Make sure you're in a comfortable position and take a few deep breaths in,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Do this a couple of times and with the last one as you exhale let it go with a sigh,

Allowing any tension or stress in your body to release,

Letting go of any worries from the day.

Begin to bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.

Take a moment to tune into energy from the centre of the earth and feel it beginning to rise up,

Flowing through the centre of the earth,

Through the earth's soil,

Rising up into your feet and all through your body,

Feeling its beautiful strong energy going all the way through you.

As you begin to feel connected,

Grounded and empowered,

Feeling alive with this life force energy.

Breathe into the power that you're now feeling within you.

As you begin to visualize yourself surrounded by a warm healing light,

This light is filled with love,

Passion and acceptance.

Allow yourself to feel its warmth and strength,

Envelop you and know that it is there to support and guide you on your healing journey.

Now bring to mind something that you've experienced that has distressed you,

That has unsettled you and still needs healing,

Something that has disempowered you or has left you feeling disempowered.

As you do so,

Notice any sensations or emotions that arise in your body.

Allow yourself to feel these sensations and emotions without judgment or resistance,

Knowing you are safe,

You are here,

You're present,

Bathed in this beautiful warm healing light.

As you continue to focus on this experience,

Begin to repeat the following affirmations to yourself.

I am strong,

Capable and resilient.

I know I have the power to heal from this experience and move forward in my life.

I am worthy of love,

Happiness and inner peace.

I will act out of love rather than fear.

I forgive myself for what I didn't know.

I forgive myself for allowing myself to be disempowered because now I can turn that around with love,

Forgiveness.

It is time for me to move on with my life and I'm grateful that I now know better.

I will now create a new story for myself,

One that I own,

One that I feel empowered by.

For the next few moments,

Allow these affirmations to sink deep into your subconscious,

Into your subconscious mind,

Still feeling grounded and connected with Mother Earth.

Know that these affirmations are true and believe in yourself and your ability to heal.

Now imagine yourself releasing this experience from your body and mind.

Visualize it leaving your body in a balloon as if it's been lifted up and carried away by the healing light surrounding you.

Then visualize this cascade of beautiful droplets of water flowing in through your head all the way through your body,

Cleansing and clearing,

Cleansing and clearing.

And as you do so,

Begin to feel a sense of lightness of being,

A wonderful sense of freedom and empowerment as everything is being released and renewed.

Finally,

Take a few deep breaths and visualize yourself now surrounded by a protective shield of light.

This shield is there to protect you and keep you safe as you continue on your healing journey.

And when you're ready,

Slowly begin to bring your attention back to your surroundings,

Slowly opening your eyes,

Just taking a moment to ground yourself in the present moment.

Remember that you are strong,

Capable and worthy of feeling empowered in your life.
