Grounding Meditation Make sure you're sitting somewhere where you'll be undisturbed.
Sitting upright,
Feet planted on the ground,
Hands gently resting in your lap.
Gently closing your eyes.
And becoming aware of how you're sitting in the chair.
Notice how your body is feeling right now.
Take in a beautiful deep breath.
Feeling your stomach expanding as you breathe in.
And sigh as you exhale.
Feeling your stomach relax.
And sigh as you exhale.
Feeling your stomach relax.
And take a beautiful deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Becoming aware of your body and how you're feeling right at this moment.
Focusing on your breath for a few moments.
Till it becomes rhythmic and effortless.
Each time you exhale,
Allowing your body to completely relax.
Feeling the tension being released from all of your muscles.
The whole of your body.
And notice how good you're feeling.
Right at this moment.
Simply enjoying being with your breath.
As you gently inhale.
And gently exhale.
Now becoming aware of your feet planted on the ground.
Connecting you to Earth.
To Mother Earth.
Noticing how the Earth is supporting you.
How the Earth is grounding you.
Keeping you in this beautiful present moment you're in.
And feeling yourself to surrender to the wisdom of Mother Earth.
Giving everything over to its strength,
To its power.
And feeling yourself sitting next to a tree.
That is connecting you even deeper with Mother Earth through its roots.
Feeling yourself becoming one with this tree.
Feeling the bark on the back of your body.
Feeling the Earth with your buttocks.
Feeling strong.
Feeling powerful.
Allowing your breath to take you through the roots.
Deeper and deeper into the core of Earth.
Feeling it nourishing you as you connect.
Deep into the core.
Keep feeling yourself being held by the strength of the tree.
Its roots connecting you.
Nourishing you.
Feeding you.
Now just getting a sense of that beautiful calm and stillness.
Feeling fully present.
Alive.
Nourished.
Keep coming back to your breath.
Coming back to using your breath to feel connected.
The vitality of life.
Your life.
Just keep surrendering yourself to just being purely present in this moment.
Breathing in the strength into every part of your body.
Feeling totally nourished.
Revitalised and re-energised.
Just taking a few more breaths to enjoy where you're at right at this moment.
Feeling your body as you inhale.
Noticing your body as you exhale.
Knowing that you can come back to this space of groundedness and connection.
Through your breath.
Connecting you to your core and the core of the earth.
Now taking a beautiful breath in.
Sighing deeply.
Gently open your eyes.
And preparing yourself for the rest of your day.
