Welcome to Peace of Mind for Overthinkers.
I'm Truly Eleanor,
Intuitive love coach and women's empowerment teacher.
This meditation will help you to soothe any anxious thoughts or a lot of mental activity that may be making you go crazy,
And will help you to plug into your heart,
To use the wisdom and let your heart lead you,
Rather than going around in circles with the mental thoughts and loops.
To get started,
Get into a comfortable position.
You can use a yoga mat,
Be laying on the couch,
Or on a bed.
Whatever is comfortable for you is perfect.
Closing your eyes,
Getting into the body,
We're going to start our slow descent into the internal self.
Taking in a deep breath in through the nose,
Releasing through the mouth.
Taking another deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
And as you breathe in through the nose for a third time,
Visualizing this energy that is coming in through the nose as a connection to your body.
So as you bring in the air and the oxygen,
It's plugging you into your body and into your internal self.
Take a moment to become aware of your head,
Your physical head,
And bringing your awareness to the sensation of being in your head.
We're doing this literally,
But it is helping you to see how it might feel to be in your head all of the time.
Sitting here will give you an idea of the difference of how it feels to be in your head versus in your heart.
Taking another moment to just tune in to the area of your head,
Your physical head,
And what this might bring up for you.
For example,
You might feel constricted or start having some mental activity and a lot of anxiety-producing thoughts swirling around.
You may start to feel a sense of chaos or frenetic energy.
Give yourself the care and the consciousness of being in your head.
Right now,
It doesn't matter why or how or any other judgmental thoughts or views that you might have of yourself for being someone who is an overthinker or who spends a lot of time in their head.
We're simply giving you the space to become aware and tune in to this habit or this perspective that you have in life,
Being in your head.
Now we're going to do a contrast and drop into the heart.
With your eyes closed,
Direct your awareness down into the center of the chest and feel,
Sense,
Or tune in to the area of the heart.
You may see colors.
You may feel a pulsating energy or a vortex of moving energy in the chest,
Which is the energetic heart,
Or you may be feeling sensations,
Having emotions,
Possibly memories,
Or you may have a slight trepidation or feeling of anxiety because this is not familiar.
Being in your heart is something that may be foreign to you.
Often when we are an overthinker or we use our head,
Being in our heart is very uncomfortable.
Giving yourself this awareness and this space and attention of simply observing and being in the space of your heart,
Your physical chest,
Your physical heart,
All of the energies and emotions that are swirling like a whirlpool in the middle of the chest is the experience of the heart.
Now I want you to take your awareness and join the heart with the head.
We're not doing away with the mind.
We are not sending the mind away.
We are going to let the heart lead the way,
But the heart still needs the cooperation of the mind.
Coming back into the heart,
Seeing a line of energy joining,
Having the heart join up with the head,
So seeing this line of energy moving up into the headspace,
Connecting to the mind,
And the intention here can be that you are connecting the heart and plugging the heart into the greater mind.
This is accessing information and consciousness that is beyond the personality.
You're still using the mind's logical awareness,
But with a higher perspective,
With a little bit of added wisdom and big picture awareness.
So finish that off,
Seeing the mind and the heart connecting together with this line of energy.
Maybe you're seeing this energy literally plugging into the mind,
Or you may be seeing them tied together.
An infinity loop could be a very beautiful visual,
Where there's an infinity loop of energy that is constantly going from the heart to the mind and back to the heart again,
In this constant interactive flow,
Working together to help you to create and attract your desires,
Love,
Purpose,
Abundance.
Right now you are creating a beautiful vortex in an interdependent infinite loop of connection,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose and breathing directly into the heartspace,
Into the chest,
Feeling the chest expanding from front to back,
And moving this energy up into the mind,
And breathing out through the mouth,
Connecting again through the breath,
Breathing in through the nose and filling the chest,
The heart,
And moving this energy up into the head,
And filling the head with this fresh energy,
Flowing and creating this pathway between the two,
And releasing through the mouth again.
And now taking a moment to just settle into this feeling of the connection.
What does this feel like?
Is there more space?
Does it feel like more opportunity,
A peaceful flow?
And taking one final moment to observe,
Maybe some messages are coming through,
Or you're seeing some visuals,
The universe might be giving you some symbols or signs to take back with you into your day-to-day life,
To help remind you of this connection or keep you on track with this,
And we're going to slowly come back to the present moment,
Bringing with you all of this wisdom,
All of this newfound perspective,
Moving your fingers and toes,
Coming back fully into the body,
Opening your eyes,
And jotting down any messages or anything that came forward for you to really integrate this new connection.
