The sacral chakra is located approximately two inches below our navel and is responsible for our emotions, relationships, creativity, and pleasure. When it’s balanced, we can be confident in our creativeness. In this meditation, we focus on balancing this space with mindfulness, breathwork and imagery.

Welcome to the sacral chakra meditation.

Please take a comfortable seat or you may recline.

If it feels right for you,

Gently close your eyes or soften the gaze down and out a few feet in front of you.

Begin to observe your natural breath pattern.

With your next round of breath,

Exhale all of the air.

Begin to take nice,

Belly full inhales for the count of 1,

Pause,

Exhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

Inhale 1,

3,

4,

Pause,

Exhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

You may continue this round of breath just as you are or follow the pattern.

Focus on the space just under your navel or belly button.

The space is to believe to help our sacral chakra.

Notice the bright orange ball in this space.

Notice as you inhale,

It begins to shrink and as you exhale,

It begins to expand,

Allowing its rays to spread in and throughout your body.

Begin to observe its expansion and shrinkage with each round of breath.

Allow each round of breath to bring in more brightness into the space.

This space is believed to hold our creativity,

Confidence,

Intimacy,

And pleasure.

As you inhale,

May we silently repeat,

I am in touch with my emotions.

I am in touch with my emotions.

I am in touch with my emotions.

Continue to allow your breath to flow with ease.

Bringing your awareness back to the ball of orange light just below your navel.

Imagine with each exhale,

The rays of light spread in and throughout your body,

In and throughout this space,

Sending its rays of orange light.

As you begin to bring your awareness back to your breath,

To your mind,

And to your body,

Notice if this light begins to fade.

Take a moment to place one hand just below the belly and then the other hand on top.

Bring it in a few more rounds of inhales and exhales.

Imagine this space becoming healthier and yourself more attuned in to your creativity,

Confidence,

Intimacy,

And pleasure for life.

Tune in to your breath,

Allowing purposeful inhales and exhales.

If it feels okay for you,

Gently hug yourself and begin to open your eyes.

Gently add movement to the body and awareness to the space surrounding.
