
Healing Your Abandonment Trauma

If the thought of someone leaving you leaves you feeling anxious than it is possible that you are feeling abandonment. This feeling comes from our chidhood. Many times as children we were left to "cry it out" to get ourselves to sleep. We were left alone in a cot in a room by ourselves without anyone to call out to. These things that seem like a small thing, can actually give us abandonment issues when we grow up. This visualisation will support you in healing your feelings of abandonment.

Welcome to this healing.
This is a healing to support you to heal your abandonment wounds and trauma.
I invite you to take some deep breaths with me now.
Breathing in slowly and deeply.
Letting the breath get all the way to your belly button and then releasing with a sound.
And again in deeply and releasing with a sound.
One more time.
Breathing in and out.
Now I invite you to close your eyes or focus on one point in front of you towards the ground.
Feel your eyelids becoming heavy.
Like they've got weights on the end of your eyelids.
They're closed.
They are secure.
And you are safe.
My voice is a place of safety for you.
It's a place where you know you are held and you know you are loved.
With your eyes closed,
Visualize yourself standing before a path.
This path now looks like a set of steps and they're going down a mountain into a beautiful valley below.
And I want you to take one step at a time slowly down this path.
Taking step number one.
Dropping into your body.
Allowing yourself to relax in this moment.
Stepping down to step number two.
Where you go deeper into relaxation.
You feel all parts of your body relax even more.
Stepping down to the third step.
You feel yourself go even deeper.
We're going to keep going down the steps to the bottom,
Which is number 10.
Step number four.
Going deeper.
Step number five.
Snow rush.
Keep relaxing and going deeper.
Step number six.
Stepping down to number seven now.
Always feeling yourself relaxed that little bit more.
Step number eight.
Allowing your breathing to regulate and relax.
Step number nine.
And then down to the bottom to step number 10.
Now that you've reached the valley below,
You'll find yourself in a beautiful safe place.
You look around the valley and you see things that are really important to you from nature.
Create this beautiful safe place in your mind.
Take the time to let those things appear before you.
Once you've created this place,
You have a look around and you start to see parts of yourself at different ages throughout your life.
And these are parts of you that were abandoned when you were younger by the people who were meant to be keeping you safe and feeling loved.
And for whatever reason,
They were unable to be there for you.
And you called out and they didn't respond.
Or they may have literally left your life at certain ages and you felt abandoned by them.
See yourself at all of these ages and ask for these beautiful parts of you to step forward.
Bring them around you.
You may like to keep standing in a circle or sit down in a circle with them.
You look around the circle one at a time to each part of you and you say to each one of them,
I see you.
I am here for you.
Tell them that it wasn't their fault.
I realize now that you are such a precious part of me and I want you to know that you are loved and you are safe now.
I'm here and I will not leave you again.
Feel into this for each one of them and see if there's anything else that you need to say to them.
And repeat that process to every part of yourself in that circle as you walk around to each one.
Look them in the eyes and go deep with them.
And you tell them all the things that they need to hear.
Once you've been around to each part of yourself,
You go back to the first one in the circle.
Once you've been around to each part of yourself,
You go back and you stand in your place with them all around in the circle.
And what you do then is you see your guides and angels coming down and they lift the trauma from the bodies from all of these parts of you.
Trauma lies in the body as a dense energy and the angels and guides come and lift it out of each one of them and they send it off to the source where it's turned back into love energy.
Now you call each one of them forward.
Now as you stand there,
You see light coming from above you.
There's a beautiful big cloud of white light above you and it has all of the healing energy that you require to heal all parts of yourself from the abandonment trauma.
It's in your nervous system and in your body.
And you allow this beautiful white light to flow down from above and fill your body.
And it comes through your body,
Fills up every single part of you.
And then a light,
You look down at your feet and a light comes out of the bottom of your feet and goes to the center of the earth.
Where you ground yourself in Mother Earth and her energy.
And then you bring that grounding energy back up to your feet and you allow that through your body.
And the grounded energy comes up through your body and sprays out the top of your head.
And then the energy from above in the beautiful cloud of light comes down through your body and anchors through your feet.
What you have is energy passing through you through those two points,
Goes back down into Mother Earth to her core,
Up through your body,
Out the top,
Up to the source.
The light of the source comes down through your body,
Fills you up and goes back down into Mother Earth.
And these two sources of energy are there for you at any time that you need them.
And for now you feel yourself fill with so much light that you burst into a big ball of light energy.
And you feel yourself step forward and as you do you leave behind any dark or dense energy that you were holding onto from the abandonment from your life.
You leave it all behind as you step forth as this beautiful light being and your angels come in and they pick up the density that you left behind and they send it off to the source to be turned into love energy.
And now you send that light around to each part of you in the circle and you fill them up with so much light that each of them bursts into their own ball of light energy.
You go around to each one of them and you fill them up with this light.
And after they've all burst into the beautiful big ball of light energy that they are,
They all step towards you and now it's time to integrate them.
Take each one of the men into your heart and tell them that you won't ever leave them again,
That you're one now.
Each one of them integrates into your heart and you both fill yourself with the light energy that's bursting from each of you.
Now you fill yourself as this whole being,
Healed,
Feeling loved and feeling whole.
You now step forth into life and you take a step forth as your whole self,
Feeling safe and knowing that you will not ever abandon yourself again.
Knowing that the abandonment lies within you,
Not outside of you.
And from this place,
You start to sense the world around you again.
Hearing the sounds close to you,
Hearing the sounds a little bit further away.
Wiggling your fingers,
Wriggling your toes,
Slowly coming back into this present moment.
It's really important after this healing that you truly understand that you have the awareness and the healing abilities around abandonment now.
When you're abandonment,
Your abandonment may be triggered from here on in.
You may not have got all of your triggers healed in that one.
You may have.
Your abandonment trigger may be healed for good and you got all parts of yourself.
But the gift of connection in life is that if somebody comes to you and they trigger your abandonment issues,
You now know that the trigger lies within you.
That nobody can truly abandon you.
Only you can abandon yourself.
And when people talk about leaving you,
If you're having more than a normal sadness about somebody leaving,
If it's something where you get locked in the sadness and you can't shift through it,
And you're feeling like you're stuck in this moment and that you're triggered and you're having a really huge response to what's actually happened,
Then this is the healing that you come back to.
Knowing that there's a part of yourself in your psyche that when you were younger,
You were abandoned and that part split off from your psyche.
And the true abandonment is happening within you.
So if you then go searching for this part within you like we do in this healing and you integrate that and heal,
Then that person leaving your life will not have a massive impact as it has had.
You will actually allow them to go with love and you will understand that people come and go into your life exactly as they are meant to.
And that is the way of connection and the human life that we have chosen to come in for.
This is a really empowering place to live from.
And it's available to you if you choose to keep doing this work until you feel truly healed.
The only way you know you'll be truly healed is if somebody talks about leaving you or that they're leaving and you have a normal response,
A little bit of sadness,
Also joy and happiness for them making their own authentic sovereign choices and choosing their own path in the world.
That is a healed response and an empowered response to have.
And this is available to you if you're having anything other than those.
So take this on your journey and come back to it when you need to.
This is a resource and a tool for you to use for the rest of your life.
And I truly hope you revisit it when you need it.
