How To Connect To Your intuition

Learn some way that you can enhance your intuition. If you want to start living from a place of inner guidance then these are some ways that you can achieve this. There are many suggestions in here and with some practice you will be guided by your higher self or inner guidance on a daily basis.

It's time to start training your intuition and get yourself really used to trusting it again.

And these are a few ways that I would like you to think about and again feel into your body,

See what's right for you.

This is all about sovereignty and the sovereign right to make choices that feel right for you.

And these are some ways that I suggest you look into starting to tune into your intuition again.

Now it's really important that on this journey of learning your intuition,

The most important thing is to be really kind to yourself.

So it's really important that your self-talk is always very very kind.

A wonderful way to start trusting your intuition and start testing it is with the little things.

So we,

Most of us have smartphones these days,

Most of us have notifications coming through for something.

You might hear a notification pop up on your phone.

Before you jump to answer that notification,

Even if you've just got your phone on vibrate,

Before you jump up to see what it is that your phone is letting you know about,

I want you to take some time and see if you can figure out what it is using your intuition.

Just ask yourself what is that?

It could be that's a reminder coming through or it could be that's a text from so-and-so or it could be that's an email from so-and-so.

It could be anything but I want you to just start practicing and it doesn't matter if you get it wrong,

Who cares.

It's an exercise to help you tune in,

You know,

Nobody's able to run a marathon in the first try.

So just keep having a go at it and what you notice over time if you really allow yourself,

Have the very kind self-talk along the way and really allow yourself just to keep testing that,

You'll actually get it right most of the time when you're starting to tune in and it's a really cool and fun thing to do and it's just one of those ways where you can go,

Yep,

I knew it and you can start building your confidence around your intuition.

Something important to think about with your intuition as well.

What I've always found is if I'm ever not sure,

The not sure comes in after I'm given too many options and if I think back to the process that's just happened,

It's usually the first thing that drops in,

The first thing I think of that is my intuition.

If I then allow the mind to come in,

It gives me six other options.

So I want you to start tuning in to if you do have six thoughts and it ends up being one of them,

Which was the first one that you had and try and tune in with that and see if I'm correct and that's the same for you,

That it's usually the first one that is actually your intuition speaking to you.

That's something just to be aware of.

Another beautiful way to play with intuition,

Especially if you want to have a question answered,

Is to actually start tapping into your intuition during your dream time.

Before you go to sleep at night,

Try asking your higher self a question and maybe once you've been asleep for a while,

You'll wake up and there'll be a memory of a dream in there somewhere and if there is,

You might want to have a notebook next to your bed,

You might want to write it down or you just might want to lie there and remember.

May drift off to sleep again.

So it's either during the night or in the morning when you wake up,

Take the time to review your dreams if you can.

What did you dream about?

Because once you get up and start your day,

A lot of times your dream will be gone.

It's off into the ether and maybe it'll drop in later if you're really lucky.

Somebody will be speaking about something,

They might trigger that thought for you,

But a lot of times that will be gone.

So it's really important if you can,

Either during the night when you wake up or in the morning,

Just take the time to really think about your dreams and start journaling what it is that's come through and see when it is that you can get your answer to the question that you asked the night before.

It's a really wonderful one to play with and that has changed my life on occasions where I have actually done that and I've made some pretty big decisions based on that.

But I was very in tune with my intuition at that time and I could feel it aligned with my body that that is definitely what it was that I needed to do.

So it changed my life in a positive way.

So I'm not saying you do what I did and make massive life changes,

I'm saying it's a really wonderful and fun and effective way for you to really tune back into your intuition.

Another wonderful way to work on building your intuition is writing and journaling and what some people call automatic writing.

So what you do in this process is you commit a certain amount of time every day to writing.

You can start with five minutes and build it to 10 minutes.

You ideally want to get up to about 30 minutes and if you're really hanging in there you might do an hour but I've never been able to do an hour.

And you just start writing and you commit yourself to write for that entire time.

And it doesn't actually matter what you write because what this process does is it does a brain dump so that all the things that are spinning around in your mind gets to be put on paper.

And when you write something or you speak it it gets to finish its cycle.

So by doing journaling you actually get the big brain dump out there and once your mind has had its time which is actually fine which is why it's important to have a set time to do your writing for as well because if you do it for five minutes your mind will take it up for five minutes.

So starting with five minutes is just a way for you to slowly develop your endurance with writing but what you want to get to is the half hour point to the hour point because what will happen is the first 15 minutes,

Five,

Ten,

Fifteen minutes will be the brain dump and then something really cool is going to happen and come through.

And they're the messages coming from your higher self or the universe down and they're just for you and you'll start writing those and you'll be amazed at what comes through if you stick with it.

That one takes a bit of dedication over time but it's well worth the effort and some amazing things can come through to you if that's something that you love to do and if it feels right for you take it in see what what feels good for you to do.

Another really cool thing you can do is you can test your hunches.

So you may have a hunch about the weather report says it's not going to rain tomorrow but you have this gut feeling that it's going to rain tomorrow your intuition is telling you it's going to rain tomorrow.

Maybe a friend of yours is telling you about a new partner that they've got and you just have this feeling about them.

I want you to write your hunches down so you can have a separate journal,

Separate page or something like that where you test your hunches and you write down all of the hunches that you have.

Do you have a good feeling about something and you feel like it's good to try it out?

What is it that your hunches are that you're having during the day?

Write them all down and then read through that list every week or so and see how many of those things are coming true because these things can be fleeting.

The hunch can come and your friend will say no this is what happened with this partner it was a really horrible time and you go I knew that but when you write it down you've written your hunch down you can go back and read it your mind can't play tricks on you and tell you it didn't happen because you've got it written down.

So that's a really great way to start working on that gut feeling and the intuition.

Another way that some people like to work on their intuition is through meditation and breath work and this is where you can look up some meditations on Insight Timer and just look for meditations on how to strengthen your intuition if that's something you would like to do and I'm sure there's breath work as well that you can look at if that's something again that feels right for you.

I'm giving you a list of things to choose from and the first job of trusting your intuition again is figuring out the one that feels right for you.

You might want to test them all out and you'll find that there's one that you gravitate to more and more and that's the one that's right for you.

Another really simple way to reconnect with your intuition is spending time in nature each day,

Getting yourself outside and doing a bit of mindfulness where you simply take your shoes off if you can,

Walk barefoot on the grass and bring your senses in.

What can you see,

What can you hear,

What can you smell,

What are you feeling?

Bring all of our senses in and see if there's anything that comes through for you at that time because when we're in connection to nature we're really connecting to the the one of the biggest energies that we have here on the planet.

It's very different connecting to yourself and to nature than it is sitting in an office desk and working on a computer.

It's a totally different frequency that you're walking into and nature heals you.

There is actually a modality in Chinese medicine I believe it is where they say walking barefoot on grass for 20 minutes a day is actually a really good way to cleanse toxins from your body and it's also beautifully grounding and so these are things that are all available to you.

So again see what it is for you that you would like to do out in nature but I think spending time in nature is going to be good for you and healing for you in so many levels but it's something that you might want to at least try once and to see how you feel when you do it.

So these are some ways for you to try out reconnecting and trusting your intuition because it's there and it's always been coming through it's just whether or not you're listening to it and these are ways that you can start to hone these skills and these skills won't let you down when you come in to connection with another person when you're looking at a new friendship or a romantic partner in some way your body and your intuition is going to tell you whether this is something new and fresh and it's where you are now it's the evolution or is it the test to see if you're going to go back into old patterns again.

Your body's going to give you the answer,

Your intuition knows the way and when you connect to those and start trusting them and listening to them when they tell you then life is going to change for you in a really beautiful way.

I've put many of these things into practice the last 3 years or more and it's amazing what you are able to tap into. Thank you for the multiple practices and reminders. You confirmed for me too that my intuition has been guiding me to live much closer to nature, out in the country, near creeks or rivers, etc. Thank you again for sharing your gifts with us they are so important & mean so much to me. 💜🙏🦋🙏💜 I do use some of those ideas already & I find I am getting better tuned in on little things like the temperature on a weather app.
