Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina and I want to thank you for joining me for this morning grounding meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Settle into your body,
Allowing it to relax.
Soften your jaw and let your shoulders melt away from your ears.
Focusing on your breath,
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Hold for a moment at the top,
And then exhale slowly through the mouth.
Let's do this three more times on our own.
Breathing in calm,
Taking that short pause,
And then releasing tension as you exhale.
Now,
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm,
Each exhale soft and releasing,
Each inhale steady and full.
Bring your awareness down to the soles of your feet.
Feel them firmly supported by the ground.
Now imagine roots gently growing from your feet into the earth,
Steady,
Strong.
With every breath you take,
These roots grow deeper,
Connecting you with the solid,
Loving presence of the earth beneath you.
Notice the quiet strength of the ground,
How it always holds you without question,
Without effort.
You are supported,
Connected,
And safe.
Now,
Open your inner senses to the energy of nature.
Imagine you're standing in your favorite space,
Filled with trees,
Sunlight,
Fresh air,
Or maybe you're by the ocean,
In a forest,
Or on a walking trail.
Allow whatever image feels natural for you to arise right now.
Feel the guidance and wisdom that this place offers to you.
Nature is always in rhythm,
Always renewing,
And always flowing,
And it reminds you that you're a part of this rhythm too.
Notice how your body feels as you tune in to this natural support,
This feeling is always available to you.
Allow gratitude to rise up in your body and heart for this connection,
For the way nature restores and guides you.
Take a moment to whisper a quiet thank you to nature,
To the earth,
To yourself for coming here today.
Know that you can return to this feeling of connection and support anytime,
It is always available to you,
Always holding you.
Let's seal this practice with one final deep breath in,
Inhaling slowly through the nose,
Feeling gratitude filling your body,
And exhaling gently through the mouth,
Sending that gratitude out to the world.
When you're ready,
Softly wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.
Be sure to carry this calm,
Grounded energy with you into the rest of your day.
Namaste.
