Good morning.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me in this morning grounding and gratitude meditation.
Use this meditation to help you get grounded and cultivate gratitude in your daily life.
Let's begin by focusing on your breath.
Notice the sensation of air moving in and out of your body.
Feel the air coming in through your nose,
Filling up your belly,
And then as you exhale,
Feel all the tension leave your body.
Let your breath become slow,
Deep,
And rhythmic.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine that you are a tree with roots that extend deep into the earth and visualize these roots growing stronger and deeper with each breath you take.
Feel the connection between your roots and the earth beneath you.
Imagine the energy of the earth flowing up through your roots and into your body,
Filling you with strength and stability.
Take a moment to observe any sensations you may be experiencing in your body.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort and allow yourself to release these feelings with every breath you take.
As you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,
Imagine that you are drawing up the energy of the earth into your body,
Filling yourself with a sense of groundedness and stability.
Imagine this energy radiating out from you,
Filling the space around you with a calm and peaceful energy.
Feel yourself becoming more centered and focused.
Allow yourself to simply be in this present.
Bring to mind all the simple things in your life that you are grateful for.
Start with your body,
Lungs helping you breathe,
Legs that support you,
And your hands that do just about everything.
Your senses that help you experience the world in such a beautiful way.
Feel grateful for the sun,
The trees,
The birds,
The flowers,
All the other living beings that share this world with you.
Bring to mind your family,
Your relationships.
Feel grateful for the people in your life who love and support you,
Who make you laugh,
And who challenge you and inspire you.
Think about all these small but amazing things that we have to be grateful for.
Reflect on how you can bring this gratitude into your daily life.
Think about how you can cultivate a sense of gratitude in your thoughts and your actions.
How can you express gratitude to the people and create opportunities to give back to the world?
As you finish this meditation,
Gratitude is a practice that requires consistent practice.
