This inquiry,
It's not about other people,
And this for me is just very,
Very important to see.
Like,
It's not that,
Oh,
Other people should see this.
Like,
That's irrelevant.
That,
You know,
Again,
Introduces a separation.
There's me and them.
And the more I make this about other people,
That really helps me to not see it for myself.
This is all only about the one I am.
And the more I see it,
It just becomes irrelevant if other people see it.
Right?
This is what I love about my relationship.
Right?
Like,
I'm about to marry this woman,
And she has no idea about these things I talk about.
And so it's so beautiful to apply this to my own world and not need her to get it.
It's irrelevant.
And as I apply it in my own experience,
I'm able to hold a space for her humanity,
Where she's not my problem,
Which just makes for an awesome relationship,
Even if she doesn't understand 80% of these things that I talk about.
And that's what I often hear from people,
Essentially,
Is,
Oh,
If only my partner understood these things.
Be careful.
Oh,
If only the world would wake up.
Be careful.
It's so wild to me,
And it speaks to the sacred nature of this spiritual invitation,
If that's what we're going to call it.
The invitation that this is all just for me to see.
Right?
Because,
Sure,
I can recognize that part of myself,
Like,
Oh,
If only my family understood this.
Oh,
If only the politicians understood this.
If only yada,
Yada,
Yada.
And that just misses the point.
You know what it's like?
This is an illustration I've used quite a few times,
But the world we see is a reflection of how we see ourselves.
And so what is it to see a world that is waking up?
What is it to see a world that is almost awake?
What is it to see a world that's not awake?
Who are you talking about?
Because,
In a manner of speaking,
For the one who wakes up,
What they see is a world that is awake,
Which is like saying a world that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
It's like seeing other people and seeing,
Oh,
You're right where you're supposed to be.
I love you.
Thank you for playing your part.
It's like walking into the forest and what you used to perceive as chaos now shows itself as a divine symphony.
And you didn't change anything.
You didn't reorganize the forest.
You just saw what was really there.
You see that?
You just saw what was really there.
You didn't see it before.
And that goes with everything.
And I understand how that could be a wild stretch for some people,
That the way things are is the way that they're supposed to be.
It doesn't mean that things won't shift about and transform.
They may.
And if they do,
That's the way it's supposed to be.
And if they don't,
That's the way it's supposed to be.
You know what this is illustrating?
It's illustrating an epic trust.
An epic trust that God knows exactly what God is doing.
