Hello and welcome.
This is Tiffany.
And this will be a short five minute meditation to relax,
To reconnect,
To soften back into your own body,
Breath,
And connection with what is.
So as you make your way here to your meditation,
You're welcome to find whatever looks like a comfortable seat.
Or to maybe come to lie down on the back,
Allowing the hands to either fall down by the sides,
Palms facing the sky,
Or to bring the palms of the hands gently to the heart or the belly.
And as you arrive,
Allowing the eyes to soften,
To close.
Beginning just by turning your attention towards what's here.
Noticing here how there's no beginning,
No end to the sense of presence.
Simply by turning your attention towards what's here.
There's that felt sense of re-arriving,
Of connecting back to that unchanging,
Always present state of being.
Let's take a few conscious breaths as you arrive.
Breathing deeply into the nose.
And as you exhale inviting a long soft exhale through nose or mouth.
As you breathe out,
Softening any tension you find in the muscles of the body.
We'll continue this type of breathing for just a few more breaths.
Inhaling and having the sense of gathering the tendrils of attention.
Giving yourself permission to let go of the past,
To relax out of and release the future.
Letting those in breaths,
Inviting,
Invite yourself to arrive,
To be right here.
Letting your out breaths be the invitation to let go.
To soften any resistance you find in the body.
Let your body,
Heart and mind in unity become open,
Present to just what is.
Taking one more full breath this way.
As it feels good to you,
Allowing the breath to return to a natural rhythm.
So for this moment there's nothing to fix or control.
No sense of creating in the mind.
And if thoughts come,
By themselves they'll go.
They have no power here.
Letting your senses be awake,
But soft.
So that you're not shopping through the senses,
But rather aware and open to whatever is coming and going.
And if at any point you find yourself gripped by a thought,
Giving it validity or truth,
The moment you notice is the moment you return to yourself,
To the space of being,
Of what is.
Maybe bringing a soft smile of gratitude for returning home and simply opening again.
To the breath,
To the body.
To that vast unchanging space,
All encompassing of what's here.
You're welcome to continue resting in the space of openness for as long as it serves you.
And if ready to move on to the next task,
The next human doing.
Taking your time to gently open your eyes.
Bringing light back to this sense.
And moving slowly,
Intentionally,
Back into your day.
Thank you for being here.
Namaste.
