Lie comfortably on the floor with your palms facing the ceiling.
Or sit up with your spine in an easy and elongated position.
And relax.
Uncross your legs or arms.
If you are lying down,
Let your legs fall gently to the sides Allow your muscles to feel soft.
Breathe in and out easily and completely without a pause between inhalation and exhalation and relax.
Feel your body releasing tension and allowing it to fall into the floor.
Mentally scan your body for any spots of tension or muscle holding and ask your mind to ask your body.
To release.
Anger is a natural human feeling.
A feeling that causes changes in the body as well as the mind.
When you're angry,
You may notice your muscles tightening.
You're breathing getting shallow.
You may be aware of your heart pounding harder or faster than normal.
If you are extremely angry,
It can even make it hard to think straight.
You're all anger and no thought.
Caught in a limbic storm,
A mass of fragmented feelings,
Images,
And sense memories looking for a place to spend themselves.
When this happens.
Take a deep breath.
Breathe in and out easily and completely several times so that your nervous system can relax.
And return to normal.
Because angry feelings arise in the body,
They can make us want to do something.
To move into action,
To act out.
When this happens,
Simply witness within your mind's eye what action you feel impelled toward.
Breathing in and out easily and completely,
Exhaling anger and resentment,
And inhaling Relaxation and comfort As you relax,
Feel your muscles soften again and become pliable Feel the beating of your heart slowing down.
And your breaths becoming deeper,
Fuller,
Longer.
Witness your thoughts and simply let them float by.
With no thought of entering into them or trying to control them.
Simply allow them to be.
Discipline Sometimes you may feel like the anger you're feeling is ancient.
Like you have been holding it for a long,
Long time.
Breathe it out on a long exhaling breath through your mouth.
Feel his old tension.
And carried stress leave your body.
Breathe in a new sense.
Of freedom and aliveness.
Allow yourself to picture someone,
Something or a part of yourself.
Around which you're holding resentment.
How does your body feel when it is in this state?
What do you want to say to that part of yourself?
Or to that person.
Say it now.
Say it now.
Open your heart.
And let the pain out.
Give it space.
Witness that.
Space.
The feelings surrounding it.
Come up and release.
What do you feel your anger is trying to tell you?
What can you see that you couldn't see before?
But part of yourself.
Or another person can you feel?
Release and compassion around.
Are there any other feelings surrounding or beneath your anger that arise such as sadness,
Aloneness,
Helplessness?
Simply witness and allow them to be as they rise to the surface.
Mentally send love to each and every thought and feeling.
Creating a positive feeling that can neutralize the negative ones.
Surround the feelings you have that are bothering you.
With your love.
And let them loosen.
And dissipate.
As you do.
Create expansive feelings.
Alongside the contracting feelings.
Releasing Letting go.
Breathe in and out easily and completely without a pause between inhalation and exhalation and relax.
Breathe out the desire to control people,
Places,
And things.
And breathe in an ability to allow life to flow.
To happen naturally.
Beautifully.
Today I value my peace of mind more than my anger.
I may have anger but I am not only that anger.
I can let my anger move through me rather than take it over.
I can feel my anger without acting on it.
My anger is information for me.
I can listen to what it might be telling me.
I can send love to each angry thought or feeling I have.
Thanks.
I give myself space.
Breathe in and out easily and completely as your anger moves through you.
As you come into a natural balance within yourself.
I am part of a perfectly ordered universe and that order is inside of me.
When I am out of balance,
The storms come.
The tears flow.
My anger erupts.
And then order is restored.
I am not afraid of my own pain and anger.
I am not afraid of the wind.
Just as the ocean tosses my anger tosses me and all becomes calm again.
Peaceful.
I can allow angry thoughts and feelings to come.
And to go.
To happen?
And unhappened.
I can send love to those parts of me that need love.
Breathe in and out easily and completely without a pause between inhalation and exhalation.
And relax.
I feel a new ease coming over me.
Feel a cool wave of relaxation pass through your body from the tip of your head to the down through your toes.
Slowly allow your attention to return to the room.
Slowly begin to move your fingers and toes.
Take a deep releasing breath as your senses return to the room,
Letting go.
Letting go,
Letting go Inhaling peace,
Sense of confidence and ease.
Gradually become aware of your surroundings.
And return your attention to what is around you.
Whenever you feel ready.
Allow yourself.
To open your eyes.
