Hello,
Dear friend,
Wherever this finds you,
Whatever time of day it might be.
Welcome to your daily presence,
Number 28.
One of the great benefits of unity,
My teachings from unity that I have absorbed and my practices that I have taken on has been to go into the silence,
To hold myself in quiet prayer.
Not just meditation,
But prayer.
Prayer is for affirming and meditation is for listening.
And so when we pray,
We can affirm things for others.
We can affirm things for all of the planet,
All of the animals.
We can affirm things for ourselves.
That is the gift of prayer.
And so if you're comfortable,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Take a nice deep breath in,
A nice inhale.
Feel it into your heart space and your belly.
And now let out a nice long,
Slow exhale and allow these words to resonate.
I enter into silence.
This is my time of prayer.
I bring with me all of the names of the people that I wish to hold in this space of love and light.
I bring with me all of the grace and presence that I can call forth.
I bring with me all of the shame and struggle that I choose to forgive and let go.
I bring to life the immense gratitude I feel for all that has been,
Is now,
And will be.
In this quiet place,
I get to write a new song and sing out all of my pain,
All of my joy,
And all of my love.
I do it quietly in my place of breath and mindfulness.
This is my time of prayer.
Namaste.
