Hello friends and welcome to this meditation that was recorded live at a recent Wisdom Circle I hosted.
I invite you to gently arrive here,
Whatever that means for you,
Settling into your space,
Settling into your body,
Into your breath,
Beginning to gently close down the external world and to begin to gather yourself here.
Slowly begin to welcome peace and stillness,
To begin to open open open to letting yourself be found,
To welcoming the presence and the love of the beloved,
However you need her or him or they in this moment,
To welcome the enveloping kind tenderness of love,
To imagine slowing down the thinking mind and letting your attention drift into the body.
So imagine softly flowing oil pouring onto your head,
An oil of goodness and nourishment.
Let it begin to move down across your face,
Eyes and your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your lips and your chin,
Over the skull and across your ears.
Notice the sensation of the oil on your skin as it moves across and down.
Let it drop and slowly and gently move across your neck,
Your throat and then begin to move across your shoulders,
Reaching the tops of your arms,
Moving slowly downwards across the elbows and to the forearms,
The wrists,
The hands,
The fingers and thumbs and wherever it touches,
It caresses you with peace and love and goodness.
Let it move down your back,
Through the centre of your spine,
Across your heart space and your chest,
Down through the ribcage,
Your belly,
Digestive tract,
Moving through your torso all the way down and let it touch and feel anything that needs it,
That needs that oil of goodness.
Let it bring its softness,
Let it be a balm of rest and slowly let it begin to fill your pelvic bowl until it spills over into your hips and begins to move down your legs,
Wash your knees,
Into the calves and the shins,
The ankles,
Feet and the toes.
Then spend a few moments simply receiving the oil of goodness as if the Holy Great Mama has come and poured that oil over you as a gift and within it is everything you need in this moment.
It offers you the gift of your enoughness,
The gift of rest,
The gift of love.
Linger a while,
Receive what you need from the oil and be blessed.
