Meditation To Bring Calm During The Storm

So,

As always,

We begin by settling into your body and taking a few long,

Deep breaths.

Just feeling into whether there is any restriction or tightness to your breathing,

Since this energy of plasma can also make you feel a little bit tight-chested or even suffocating at some point.

So,

It's just gently relaxing into your breath and trying to bring your inhalation and exhalation to the same duration.

And now,

Taking your attention to your skull area.

We're going to work with the spine today,

So just really feeling into that very highest top vertebra where your spinal cord meets that neural network of the brain.

And just follow that spinal cord as the golden rod all the way through your vertebrae,

Down out to the bottom,

And keep going with the golden rod below your physical body.

And just see how far you wish to go with this in order to anchor into the energy of Mother Earth.

If you feel or are given a different way of grounding,

Then please do this,

But essentially all we're doing is bringing our energy down using the breath,

Just to connect to the deepest center.

Perhaps you have visuals of that golden network that I described,

That is being built and continues to be built,

Connecting into the web of the grandmothers,

The elders,

Those that take care of us and nurture us,

Whether it be in the physical realms or in the spiritual realms.

And just feel whether there's a bit of wobbling,

Whether you feel a little bit unstable with the left or right,

And see if you can use the visual of a seesaw or one of the balancing boards to just bring your whole state to a more centered way of being.

If you need a little bit more stabilization,

Then visualize a tree in front of you and try and model,

Represent the tree trunk and feel into how that is for you.

If you cannot do this,

Then I wish for you just to visualize going to put your back up against the tree trunk and either stand or just sink down to sit and rest on the earth.

Continuing to breathe deeply,

Bringing your attention to your heart center now,

To that golden orb or whatever color comes to mind is represented by the energy field of your heart.

And in your out-breath,

Just try and expand it around you as you breathe in,

Up and into the space above your head,

Going higher and higher,

Reaching up into the highest point of source light you can connect into,

Feeling the warmth of that light embracing you,

Washing over you or trickling down your spine.

And during these times,

Which are tumultuous and difficult and challenging for many,

We open ourselves to receive and ask for help by using the words that were offered to me as part of the card reading,

I ask for help on this day and all days through unconditional love.

Thank you.

And just holding yourself against the tree or sitting or resting,

You see in front of you a pool,

Pond,

Lake,

River,

Whatever body of water comes to mind,

And we're going to slowly step towards this body of water and just feel into what is happening in your body and field.

As you approach the water,

Look at the light shining on the water and get a sense of what color it is offering you,

Feeling to what temperature you would like to experience,

Whether it's quiet or a moving body of water.

As we move out of the old and into the new,

In this place of new beginnings,

You step into the water.

And if you feel comfortable,

Just drop yourself below the surface as you're washed and cleansed and purified by the waters that surround you.

Move with what is shown to you in terms of how to respond to this water.

Do you want to dive deeper?

Or are you happier just to swim on the surface?

You want to shake yourself off,

Shake yourself clean?

Do you want to open your mouth and just scream under the waters and see the bubbles come out and pop on the surface,

Releasing any tension that otherwise you're not able to release?

And just step by step,

Slowly,

Slowly,

Feel the water clearing you.

And then I wish for you to visualize that you're floating,

That the water itself is like an all-encompassing hand,

Just holding you in that space of calm,

Of quiet,

Of love.

And as you float between the water and the sky,

You look up to see the stars,

The moon.

As these stars and moon are reflected back on the water,

In the water in which you're floating.

And again,

While you're floating in this cosmic sea,

You yourself a star,

A point of light.

Again,

You can ask for help.

I ask for help on this day and all days,

Through unconditional love.

Thank you.

And as you rest,

As you are the space between heaven and earth,

You begin to feel a sense of calmness around you,

Calmness within you,

A sense of having more balance,

Of being more connected and of being held by the all-encompassing hand of the great Mother Father God,

That divine being who has our highest interests in the depths of their presence,

Loving us unconditionally through all our human frailties,

Faults and weaknesses,

And instead offering to us a sense of how perfect we are,

Of how connected we all are.

So when you are ready,

You can move and step out of the water,

Back towards your tree.

As you dry yourself or change into new clothes that have been left for you there next to the tree,

You see the night fading and the sunrise appearing as you gather a notebook that is next to you on the ground with a pen,

And you write something that you wish to hold in your heart during these coming times,

Knowing that Mother Earth and Father Sky are present always and that you always have access to ask for help.

So I leave you now in the space of sitting under the tree with your journal,

And when you come out of this meditation,

Perhaps you do want to write a few words of your own,

And when you're ready,

Bringing yourself back to the physical space you're in,

Or just continuing to enjoy the support of the tree as you see the waters gathering on the earth,

Sending love and full moon blessings to you all,

And we'll connect again soon.
