Gently close your eyes and take a moment to breathe deeply.
As you inhale,
Imagine inviting a sense of calm and safety.
And as you exhale,
Release any tension or stress,
Allowing it to melt away with each breath.
I invite you to bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
This is where your root chakra resides.
Now visualize a warm,
Radiant,
Red energy at this center,
Softly glowing like a gentle flame.
This energy symbolizes security,
Grounding,
And a deep sense of being rooted.
Let's take a moment to ground ourselves with the nurturing energy of Mother Earth.
Picture strong roots extending from the base of your spine,
Reaching down like the roots of a grand tree.
And with each breath,
Feel these roots growing deeper into the earth,
Providing you a solid and stable connection.
I invite you to repeat the following affirmation as many times as you feel comfortable.
I am safe,
I am secure,
And I am grounded.

Speak these words with loving intention.
Allow them to resonate within every fiber of your being.
And as we've connected to the root chakra,
We will explore the emotions within.
Know that it is okay to acknowledge any difficult feelings that may arise.
And perhaps,
Instead of pushing them away,
You approach them with gentleness and compassion.
Imagine these emotions as soft clouds hovering around you.
I invite you to just take a moment and observe and welcome these feelings.
If it feels overwhelming,
Imagine embracing them as you would a dear friend in need.
And as best you can,
Allow them to be present without judgment.
Now turn your attention to your breath,
Letting it flow naturally.
Perhaps as you inhale,
You imagine drawing a soothing red light from the root chakra,
Filling your body with warmth and security.
And as you exhale,
Releasing any tension,
Pain,
Or fear you might be holding onto within.
Know you are safe to let go.
Now I want you to take a journey in your mind to a place where you feel the safest.
It might be a cherished memory,
A serene natural setting,
Or an entirely imagined sanctuary.
Feel the comforting embrace of this safe place surrounding you,
Providing you solace and protection.
Again,
If any challenging emotions surface during this meditation,
Know that it is entirely normal and okay.
And when you are ready,
Gently explore those feelings.
Allow yourself to experience them without trying to change or fix them.
