Hey,
It's Cyrus.
We're so caught up in getting rid of our stress and anxiety that we end up forgetting about our love.
It ends up getting suppressed,
Which sounds crazy,
But you have a lot of love inside you.
And my guess is it's not being felt as fully as you want to feel it.
So let's do an exercise now and really unlock the full power of that love.
Go ahead and set up your space so that it's free of distraction and find a comfortable position sitting down with good posture,
But nice and relaxed at the same time.
And when you feel ready,
Close your eyes,
Take a slow,
Deep breath all the way down into the core of your body.
Fill up your chest and stomach with your breath and slowly release it out through the mouth.
Let's do two more like that,
A little bit deeper on each one,
Breathing deep and slow down into the legs and feel it flow down and back up super slow as you exhale,
Like you're breathing out in slow motion,
Decompressing as you do.
Last one,
Deepest one,
Slowest one.
Breathe all the way down to the tips of your toes and let it roll super casually and slowly out as you feel that slowness soothing your nervous system.
And now if you feel ready,
Take a moment to intuitively tune in to your body and notice whatever's blocking your love the most at this moment.
Is it a feeling of stress and anxiety?
Is it a feeling of frustration?
Is it a sense of sadness?
It could be any of these things or something else or a combination,
But just notice what's most prominent as the block to your love right now.
And if it feels safe to do so,
Just invite that to be there for a moment,
To be present in your body so we can let that thaw and relax and clear out.
So just invite that sensation of the block,
That emotion or energy to simply be present in the body for a few moments.
Notice where you sense it the strongest and don't intellectualize it,
Just keep your mental spotlight on it and be with it in a loving way without trying to change it like you're just holding space for it.
Choose to shine a sense of compassionate understanding on whatever feeling or block to your love is there as if you're saying,
Yes,
I see you,
I understand you,
And you're welcome to be as you are in this moment.
And if that feeling wants to be explored or revisited another time on a deeper level,
You can certainly do that,
But for the sake of this exercise,
Let's choose to consciously surrender that to a higher energy right now.
Just ask the universe or whatever greater energy resonates with you to take away that block for you to help you dissolve it.
You could even say in your mind right now,
I don't know how to let this go,
But I ask this higher energy to help take it from me now.
And simply relax and imagine yourself allowing it to evaporate out of your body.
Don't think,
Just sense and feel it flowing and dissolving up and out through the top of your head into the greater space and energy that can handle it for you.
Let all of it or as much as possible flow out.
Don't hang on to anything that you don't need to in this moment.
And just allow a sense of lightness and spaciousness to open up within the body now in its wake.
Feel and sense that inner lightness,
That subtle shift into spaciousness expanding within all the cells now.
And now on your mental movie screen,
Begin to be aware of some person or pet that makes you feel an instinctive sense of love.
Someone who makes you feel safe and warm and open and just that sense of effortless love when you think about them.
And let that feeling of love start to arise and blossom in your heart center now or wherever in your body you notice it flowing,
Invite it,
Allow it,
Don't suppress it or rationalize it,
Just feel it flowing.
Allow it to rush and flow through you at its own pace if it feels good.
Notice any part of you that's holding back or putting a cap or a limit on the amount of that feeling of love and lovingness that wants to be felt and if it feels safe,
Let go of that limit,
Let your heart overflow with love towards that person or every being,
Whatever it wants to flow towards.
As it rushes through you,
Let yourself receive it as well so that it's an outflow and a receiving at the same time,
Saturating and healing everything it comes into contact with.
And now let's keep that flow going,
Allowing it to deepen in its dynamic quality as you start to become aware of something that you love to do,
Something that you gravitate towards doing,
Whether it's something you do now or something you haven't done in a long time,
But something that just feels enjoyable for its own sake,
There's no outcome,
You just light up with that love when you do it.
And if it feels good,
Just imagine yourself vividly engaging with the process of doing that thing.
Allow the energy of that love,
That joy,
That excitement that comes along with doing that thing to start to flow through your energy system,
Through your body,
To spring up and through you.
And don't suppress your love,
If it wants to flow even more fully and strongly,
Allow it to thicken and amplify into an incredible voluminous flow of energy rocketing through you,
Lighting you up fully for no logical reason,
Just because it wants to be felt.
And finally I invite you now to turn your attention to some work of art that you truly love,
That you're grateful to exist on the same timeline as.
Maybe it's a movie or a song or a book or a poem,
But just something that brings you undeniable love and gratitude and joy just by remembering its existence,
Connecting to that now.
And as you recall that and connect with the aspects of it that bring you that love,
Feel its creative energy and spirit flowing through you.
Feel your love and gratitude for it,
Your awe of its beauty and transcendence resonating through you.
And let the magic and splendor of your love for that person you chose,
And that thing you love to do,
And that work of art you love so much,
Start to combine and wave through you soothingly,
Upliftingly.
And to whatever extent it feels safe and good,
Don't suppress your love for all of that.
Let it coalesce and flow as a river of pure energy through your heart,
Expanding and swelling with love for all of that,
No rhyme or reason,
Just because you can love that much.
Enjoy that feeling as it works its way through your nervous system,
Harmonizing and balancing everything in your body and mind.
And allow it to paint your perception of everything in your life and the world,
To find its way and saturate your entire existence with a sense of love and openness,
Gratitude and possibility.
And visualize yourself now moving through your life and the world with that heart-centeredness,
With that overflowing lovingness that you're no longer suppressing as much.
See and feel the version of yourself that leads not with your mind,
But with your love.
And if that feels good to you,

To let your love and openness flow today and to lead with that in all that you do on a consistent level.
