On the line here just maybe at 30 seconds or so to get themselves,

We want to make sure we're all in a real comfortable position,

Seated comfortably and starting to relax.

Make sure your arms and legs are uncrossed.

I highly encourage you to make sure you have your feet are flat on the ground and you take a second to make sure that there's nothing kind of obstructing your ability to be calm and collected and cool.

You're not going to have anything that's going to buzz against your wrist or something that's going to beep and take your distraction,

Take your mind away from what we're doing.

This next 20 minutes are very much just for you and just for your relaxation.

So let's just all start to breathe nice and easy.

There's no special instructions on breathing.

Your body knows how to breathe.

Just lean back and get yourself into a comfortable position.

If you're not feeling comfortable right now,

You will in a couple of minutes.

And just slowly start to calm your movements,

Commit yourself to the comfortable position that you've put yourself in.

Commit yourself to just breathing in and out calmly.

And now just simply let your eyes close.

And let's come back and review why.

We talked about this last week,

But it's always worth reviewing so you know why it is you're doing what you're doing in the effort to reach a very relaxed state.

That's because vision is one of our stronger senses.

We can see a lot.

We can accomplish a lot if we have vision available to us.

But when you block that out,

It becomes quite easy to start to gravitate towards your other senses and to start to align and look at your own inner self.

And that's the purpose of these sessions.

Breathe in as you think of the word relax.

Breathing in nice and slow,

Nice and calm.

Again,

No special instructions on breathing.

Your body knows how to breathe.

Breathe in the word relax.

And allow yourself to feel whatever it feels.

As you continue to align with the word relax,

Perhaps your next breath out's a little bit slower.

Your next breath in is a little bit deeper.

Once in a while,

You're going to have those breaths that just seem a little bigger than the rest.

That's fine.

Lean into that.

Allow your body to start to regulate to a new level of homeostasis surrounded by the word relax.

Let's focus our minds on the tops of our heads as we think of the word relax.

Take a moment and see what it is you feel as you think of the word relax and breathe deep into your lungs.

Maybe you notice a change in sensation,

Tingling,

Maybe more aware of that part of your body,

Maybe nothing at all.

But rest assured that in short order,

Your body will not be able to do that.

Your body will align itself with the word relax.

Let this sensation spill down through your hair,

Your hairline,

To your ears,

Fall down the front,

Through your forehead.

And on your next breath out,

Let your forehead relax.

Let your eyebrows descend.

Let the space between your eyebrows soften.

Let it come down the back of your head and allow your neck to relax.

If you're leaned against a wall,

Let your head fully relax against it.

And if you're not,

Align yourself and commit to a position that allows you to feel comfortable with your head right on top of your shoulders.

Breathe in the word relax.

Let it come down the back of your head.

And on your next breath out,

Let your forehead breathe in the word relax.

Breathe out and let your nose soften.

Let your eyebrows again fall.

Your cheeks fall toward your chin.

Your jaw simply drops.

Let your upper lip fall toward your lower lip.

And let your tongue lay relaxed in the bottom of your mouth.

Breathe in the word relax as you allow this wave of relaxation to descend below your head,

Down your neck,

And into your shoulders.

Allow your elbows to fall away from your shoulders and allow your shoulders to softly descend.

Let your forearms relax into your wrists.

Let your hands become comfortable in their place.

Neck,

Shoulders,

Elbows,

Wrists,

And hands.

Relax.

Allow this relaxation to enter your lungs and your chest and your lungs and your lungs and your chest.

Your rib cage.

Allow your rib cage to soften as your breathing that has become relaxed to this point becomes even more deeply,

More profoundly relaxed.

Thorough.

Cleansing.

On your next breath in,

Allow yourself to visualize in your mind's eye going through your lungs and grabbing everything that wants to come out.

And then lightly and relaxed,

Deeply exhaling.

On your next breath in,

Let this relaxation descend down into your lower back,

Your abdomen,

Your hips,

And let your body fully relax into its position.

Allow this relaxation to move into your upper legs.

Allow this to move into your knees.

Allow this to move into your knees.

Breathe in and allow this to provide relaxation into your shins.

Breathe in the word relax and allow your ankles to fully soften.

Use your mind's eye to visualize the complex and wonderful structure that allows you to walk,

Allows you to hold your weight onto your feet as you move about in the world.

Breathe in a feeling of gratitude to your ankles.

All of the bones inside your feet.

Think of the spaces in between your toes,

Your toenails,

The tops of your feet,

The middle of your arch.

Allow all of these to relax.

While you're in this relaxed state,

Let's go on a little journey today.

Imagine yourself on a city street.

Whatever comes to mind in the idea of city street,

Commit to that immediately.

You see the people.

You see the signs and lights,

Cars moving about.

Visualize this as detailed as you can.

Notice the clothing on a person nearby,

The sound that a car might make driving by you,

Smells of the streets and the bustling people,

Changes in signs or colors or the lights on a building.

But notice how smoothly and effortlessly you move within this space,

Deliberate,

Predictable,

And safe.

Now imagine that just ahead of you,

You notice a door.

It's an old door left from a structure between two modern buildings,

Narrow but inviting.

Think clearly about what this door looks like to you.

Is there anything written on it?

What's its color,

Texture?

What does the door handle look like?

Visualize this with real clarity as you reach out,

Grab the handle,

And open this door.

Ahead of you is a dimly lit hallway,

Again,

An inviting but curious what lies ahead.

There's no other sensation here than relaxed curiosity.

You're safe and in the mood to explore the surroundings.

As you move through this hallway,

You notice a staircase ahead of you,

10 stairs leading down to an even more elaborate and inviting doorway that's old.

And you have the strong feeling that there is a wealth of knowledge behind this.

We'll descend this staircase and deepen our level of relaxation.

10,

9,

8.

Your breathing may get revisited and become deeper.

7,

6,

5.

You start to notice the light around the door ahead of you and some more details.

4,

3,

2,

And 1.

You reach out,

Fully aware of the door in front of you.

And with a click and a clock,

You open this inviting,

Heavy door.

You enter a round room,

High ceilings with a domed roof.

And the walls are floor to ceiling,

Library stacked books,

All in great order that is very pleasing to you.

You like the colors of the books.

You wonder what's inside.

You smell this deep wealth of knowledge around you.

And it is the knowledge that you've gained in your life.

You know that each tome,

If opened,

You could move effortlessly to a point in your life and recall it with great detail.

In the center of this room,

You find a room that is a pedestal with a large book on it,

Like a very old dictionary.

And you approach this and see that it's left open for you,

And all of the pages are blank.

What an opportunity.

What a gift.

What a gift.

Here is where you get to interact and take the most important life thoughts that you have at this time and allow them to effortlessly be scribed into this book through your mind's hand.

You notice the pages start to move and flip,

Quickly being filled with perfectly written down detail of excellent thoughts.

Your breath deepens,

And you're able to relax into the thought that everything you need can be stored and returned to.

And you can give yourself the space and clarity to fully and more deeply relax.

You step away and look towards the ceiling.

Your hands at your side,

In your mind's eye,

Able to turn your hands outward with your palms towards the roof.

And instantly,

This domed roof begins to open,

As if to invite you to leave upward.

You simply move your opened palms towards the sky,

And all of a sudden,

You lift off the ground.

You bring your hands down,

And you settle back down.

With instant but extreme confidence,

You are aware of this newfound ability to fly.

And you lift your hands up.

You start to move up and out of the building.

You see around you all the modern structures of the city.

And you're able to move upward at different speeds by simply changing how you position your arms.

You quickly move up to the underside of the clouds that surround the city,

Looking down,

Taking in the view around you,

And wondering how far can this go?

With just a flick of the fingertips,

You're at the top of the clouds.

From time to time,

The clouds part,

And you can see the landscape below you.

But that's not as much of a concern at this point.

You have this newfound energy and ability.

Where can it take you?

With another flick of the fingertips,

You've moved five times higher.

Clouds look far away.

And the terrain,

The Earth,

Is really not a concern.

You're safe,

Comfortable,

Warm,

Breathing easily.

It bothers you not what elevation or where you will go.

Somehow in this is extreme confidence in your ability to breathe,

Stay comfortable,

And safe.

With a smile,

You move away from Earth.

And you find yourself halfway between the Earth and the moon,

Safe,

Comfortable,

And warm.

Comfortable,

Absolutely elated at this newfound ability.

Where can I go?

Let's find out.

With another flick of your wrists,

You're able to blast past the moon,

Approach and pass Mars.

All of a sudden,

You find yourself outside of Saturn.

You're floating above the rings.

You see the gaseous clouds of this giant planet.

You see the moons.

They're shadows against the rings.

They're shadows against the planet,

Not knowing where this goes or how long this lasts.

You're simply filled with gratitude.

With a flick of your wrist,

You're now at the next star closest to us,

Seeing a solar system no one has seen.

Put yourself there as vividly as possible.

How many planets are there?

Do you see their moons?

What colors do you see?

Are you aware of movement or signs of life?

Are you simply just awestruck at being able to see this special place?

You know now somehow that as you put yourself in a place of deep relaxation,

You will remember this ability and be able to come back to it quickly.

You push your hands down and quickly re-enter our solar system,

Pass Saturn,

Mars,

Our moon,

And back into our upper atmosphere.

Oddly and appreciatively,

You realize you are right in line to go right back to where you started.

And you descend easily and happily through the clouds,

Into the room,

And descend and land lightly and safely,

Right back next to the book.

You knew you were writing down all of these thoughts.

And you notice on the shelf a book that glows.

And you know that your story was told,

Recorded,

And kept.

And you look back at the book on the pedestal,

And its pages are once again blank,

As if to say,

Thank you,

Come again.

You know it's time to return to your day,

And your thoughts will come back to you,

And you will be fully available to them as you open the door,

Close it securely behind you,

And start to ascend the staircase,

Coming back into awareness of the world around you.

1,

2,

3.

You start to hear the sounds of the city outside.

4,

5.

You start to remember what you set aside,

So that you can come back to it with a fresh,

Fresh mind.

6,

7,

8.

You see the door out to the city at the end of the hallway as you ascend 9,

10.

And slowly open your eyes as you move your way down the hallway and back out into the city.

And this is where we say thank you.

We say welcome to the rest of your day.

In your mind's eye,

You say hello to the people that you meet.

You smile,

And you look forward.

And enjoy the feelings and capacities that a relaxed and clear mind permit.

And thank you for your time.
