You you welcome to warm hearts and appreciation I'm Connor Logan doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine accompanied by composer Trevor Wayne Howard This moment is for you For you to sit and And understand something more deeply With more appreciation And we'll discover what that is First ensure that you're in a comfortable position Arms and legs uncrossed and no clothing constricting movement Breathe in cool clear breath deep into your body And exhale Whatever is on your mind at the moment Knowing full well,

You will come back to it later Clearer and with more understanding Breathe in again And breathe out You Take another long slow deep breath in as your body Starts to relax and settle into your easy breathing Continue to breathe slowly and gently as you bring awareness to the top of your head Just sense or imagine The beginnings of relaxation Spreading from the top point of your head in all directions Relaxing your hair and scalp your ears down towards your shoulders Your forehead Through your nose To allow your cheeks to sink down into your relaxed jaw Your throat relaxes even more as you take another deep breath in This peaceful feeling flows down from your shoulders and into your arms You can feel your elbows hanging away from your shoulders And your forearms sag deep To allow your wrists and elbows to open Your fingers lay without stress without thought relaxed Allow this feeling to enter your breath Allowing what has already become comfortable to deepen and become more comfortable Breathe in and send relaxation on your exhale down through your abdomen into your hips Your lower back Allow the muscles to relax Your inner and outer thighs to relax Your kneecaps to relax down towards your toes Your ankles Your toes You are comfortable,

Peaceful,

And relaxed Now it's time to take a small journey Picture yourself walking down a busy street There's so much to look at,

So many different people Vehicles,

Lights,

Sounds Picture all of this Pick out details Look at people Look at colors and lights and hear the sounds Especially the sound you make moving around in this environment Just up ahead next to the sidewalk,

You notice a small doorway It's a doorway between two very large buildings and seems old and forgotten People hurry past,

Unaware of what's behind this door You walk towards the doorway,

Slipping easily through the crowd It's an easy move to enter the doorway once there,

As it seems like the only thing to do The entrance is dark but comfortable It's warm and intriguing And as soon as the door closes behind you,

The outside world is no more A few steps down the hallway and you reach a staircase Ten steps to enter and explore your heart Ten steps to enter and explore your heart Ten steps to enter and explore your heart Ten You make your way down,

Appreciating everything about this pathway Nine You focus on the destination,

Another old door waiting to be opened Eight You see more about this door What's the quality,

The age,

Any damage on the door?

What do the hinges look like and how do you foresee this door will open?

Seven Six Five Four Only the lights that you see through the edges of the door is available And the external world is truly behind you Three Two One You grab the latch,

Turn the door handle and enter the room Inside this room is a library This room is a private place just for you It's secluded and inviting There's just the right amount of light as you notice a desk in the middle of the room On this desk is a large book that looks very old You have a sense that it's been waiting for you You open this book And notice all the pages are blank Look inside yourself and allow the first thought To be something you can hold and keep warm And appreciate for its positive qualities Allow the first thought that comes to mind to be that thought And the book begins to move The book begins to be drawn in What are the lines and pictures or words that are appearing on the page about this appreciation?

How firmly are the lines made?

If it's a drawing,

What's the quality of the drawing?

Why is it excellent to you?

Is there shading?

Is there color?

Is it a picture that you're making up?

Or something that represents?

Something you hold dear?

The roof begins to shake and open above you It's exhilarating,

Pleasant,

Expected The lights turn down in the room as you close the book with your mind's eye On the cover of the book are two hands lifted up Which allows you to explore an idea What can I do in this space?

Let me fly Looking down at your hands,

You open and lift your hands and begin to float Just a few inches above the ground,

Because this is a fun but foreign feeling Balance in this moment just a bit above the ground,

Safe,

Controlled Can't help but smile What is this gift?

And where can it take us?

Just a flutter of your fingertips allows you to move up a touch So let's allow our hands to move up with our arms We easily and quickly leave this place Moving upwards into the sky Past the clouds,

And we look down We see the town below us We see the building get smaller,

And we see all the buildings getting smaller We look up and see the clouds we're about to enter We're coming up to the bottom of the clouds moving through Clouds fill the space beneath us as the town fades into the distance Looking upwards we notice blue is changing to darker and darker as we leave our planet behind Passing satellites moving towards the moon and past it There is no limit to how quickly and safely we can move Jupiter and Saturn are distant memories as we come out to see the Milky Way below us How does it rotate?

What are the colors?

Let's stay here and play in this space If what you're seeing is your heart,

Then what is your favorite part?

How does it rotate?

You I awake a little before my alarm nowadays Orion's belt meets my eyes through the dark The gradient east to west reminds me of the city that never sleeps My little angel's head rests softly on the pillow Face relaxed,

Her body breathes deep to announce that she's aware that I'm there Whisper touch of dirty blonde hair gets a stir We shake off the dust the first few steps around the corner Handheld strides catch a rhythm A high view leads to a neighborhood colloquialism,

A gash through the open,

Space where efficient connections between best friends houses are lined with trees and flowers Step left,

Settle your weight Wrists float up and are buoyant on a sea of energy We stride together and breathe in unison Grateful for mother connected to her What did you feel?

What shall today bring?

Sunshine or fire are now equally met with calm breath,

Slowly taking in the data Take a last minute to appreciate this distant place that you have connected with yourself In your mind's eye,

You point your direction back home With unhurried speed,

You are able to quickly and safely move back towards the room Past the moon,

Feet first gently floating down through the clouds The door is open and waiting for you You easily float down through its crest,

Softly landing on the floor in the same position you left In front of you remains the book It opens to show you its pages are once again blank,

Waiting for you to return Always there Take one last good look at this room And make your way towards the doorway Feel the floor beneath your feet Notice the colors of the books around you,

The wood of the shelves,

The type of lighting Grab the door handle and exit to the staircase The door shuts firmly behind you as you look up the staircase One You place your foot and begin to gaze upwards Two You are focused on your ascent Three You remember to bring everything wonderful from this experience with you Four Five The light of the door is gone as you begin to feel the hints of the outside environment Six You can see the hallway in front of you above the top of the stairs Seven Breathing deeply you bring cool,

Clear energy to surround your heart Eight Your lungs are relaxed Your hands and toes Hands and legs feel alive Nine You step out of the doorway And ten You reach the top of the stairs and walk towards the door to the external world What's one thing to take away?

Perhaps to share with yourself or with another?

Open the door and notice an empty street that's quiet and clean Start to allow everything about the world to come back Happily Welcoming The cars in colors Signs and people Smells Temperature As you happily move through the crowd Smile and say hello to those that you meet Look up Meet the eyes of someone And enjoy your day Thanks for watching!
