Hi beautiful one and welcome to this journey of inner peace.
I'll be guiding you through a process of awareness and clearing to bring calm and a sense of well-being to your inner world.
To start let's make sure that you're in a comfortable position.
Whether you're sitting upright or laying down try to make sure your spine is reasonably aligned and that you're in a place where you're not going to be interrupted.
As you find your comfortable space allow yourself to simply notice the weight of your body resting easily on the surface beneath you.
Feel yourself held and nurtured by the earth as we enter this practice.
Now moving more deeply into our body take a deep slow conscious breath pausing at the top and as you exhale rest your awareness a little more deeply into the body.
Inhale again expanding the torso and pausing at the top before gently releasing the breath and relaxing into the surface beneath you.
Another deep conscious breath into the belly and on the exhale settle into your body relaxing yet awake and aware.
Now coming back to your natural flow of breathing allow the breath to just breathe itself.
Now as we're connected with the body allow too for your mind to find a sense of peace.
Anything you've been thinking or worrying about can be set aside for now.
We have nowhere we need to be and nowhere we need to go for the duration of this journey.
We can detach from our worries while still being aware and observing our experience.
Let's draw our awareness further within turning to your mind's eye.
Imagine your inner landscape is like an ocean,
A vast body of water.
As you cast your attention over this ocean you can notice that some areas are calm and peaceful while perhaps other areas appear choppy or turbulent.
You may also move your attention deeper beneath the surface of the ocean to notice where the currents are running further into the depths.
I invite you to simply notice for now.
Allow the picture of these waters to speak to you.
Allow yourself to simply watch,
To listen,
To feel.
There is no need to think or to worry.
As you notice the flow and the movement of this vast ocean within,
Notice the flow of your breath moving in and out of the body as we sit here connected to our awareness and the feeling of this inner ocean.
Allow your attention to move across and perhaps rest on any areas that feel uneasy or turbulent to you.
Perhaps you can see what these areas represent in your life.
You notice the ocean corresponding to or perhaps not.
Either is fine.
There's no need to think or categorize your experience.
However you are experiencing this vast ocean and the movement of its waters both shallow and deep is perfect.
Allow yourself to be present with any feelings or any awareness that may arise from observing this inner ocean.
Just noticing.
There's no need to judge and there's no need to change what's arising for you.
As you begin to explore the movement and the nature of these waters,
Whether there's turbulence or you may want to ask yourself what does this mean for you?
How does this relate to the way you experience your world?
Do you find peace and enjoyment in these waters?
Are there areas of discomfort in noticing this inner landscape?
Remember this ocean has many layers to explore what lies beneath.
Wherever you choose to take yourself on this journey,
Stay aware of the breath that gently anchors us here with its gentle flow in and out of the body.
When we allow ourselves to sit in this way with whatever is present within us,
Neither resisting nor judging,
We create a beautiful space for calmness and for peace.
So as you rest more fully in the experience of this inner ocean,
I invite you to to ask if there are any areas which you would like to feel more peaceful.
Any areas that you feel perhaps challenging,
Perhaps they're challenged by the world around you,
The way that our at times chaotic world can impact our inner landscape.
And in noticing this you may perhaps choose to bring consciousness and calm to these areas of the ocean,
Perhaps using soothing breath to restore a sense of stillness.
Noticing that beneath the surface the currents flow more smoothly as you choose to pacify or turbulence.
Here we know that we have conscious choice as we allow our breath to soothe and calm any turbulence noticed in our inner landscape.
We're choosing to experience more calm,
To take back our power and conscious choice about how the outside world is impacting us.
We have a choice.
Do we become caught up in the drama and chaos of the outside world or is it possible to surrender to the peace,
To anchor into the calm of our higher knowing,
Of our inner being.
When we sit with this knowing,
Our inner ocean becomes an infinite reservoir of peace and light.
Relish this feeling of peace,
Noticing the gentle movement and as we sit here in our peace it becomes safe to acknowledge perhaps there are areas of that world we find challenging,
Our relationships,
Perhaps even just our confidence or perhaps the way the world is playing out on our TV screens.
From this place of capacity and our reservoir of peace I invite you to tune in with your heart and if it feels right allow this inner calm,
This inner light of peace and love to begin to flow out into your experience of the world around you.
There's no need to judge or resist those scenes in the outside world,
Something to be what it's not.
Allow this ocean of peace out to these less than easy aspects in our world.
Perhaps we can see them in a different light and experience them in a different way.
All of this comes from the inner reservoir with the cleansing of the waters flowing from your heart.
Perhaps you can start to observe a new world emerging,
It involves deeper,
Easier relationships,
Perhaps it's greater self-love and gratitude or perhaps you notice a global shift to more peace and kindness.
Wherever your ocean is flowing and nourishing in your life let that peace make its home within and without.
Sit with this vision staying in your heart and let the movement of your breath anchor this transformation within you and outside of you.
I will let you rest in this space for now and you will hear my voice again very soon.
Now as we draw to the end of this meditation I invite you to bring your awareness back into your physical body.
Notice the density of muscle and bone and the feeling of your body resting on the surface beneath you.
Take a deeper breath or two,
Bring small movements back into your fingers and toes,
Rolling the shoulders,
Moving the spine and when you're ready gently open your eyes.
After this practice I suggest doing a grounding exercise,
Perhaps putting your feet on the earth or just visualizing yourself growing roots from your base chakra or feet,
Plunging deep into the earth.
Feel yourself held in the stability of the earth and be fully in your body.
I hope this exercise has served you.
I hope you feel the peace within and are ready to shine that force into the world.
Much love to you beautiful soul.
Namaste.
