This meditation is written and recorded by Tamiya Urban,
The Urban healer.
It's my pleasure to guide you today.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and take three slow deep breaths in through the nose,
Extending your breath down to your center and then exhale through the mouth,
Letting it all go.
As you begin to slow your breath,
Allow yourself to land here as you are.
There's nowhere you need to go,
Nothing you need to do in this moment.
Give yourself full permission to surrender,
Soften and settle.
You are safe here.
Let's check in with the physical body.
Feel the ground below you,
Supporting you.
Notice how your body begins to get heavier,
Taking up more space as you begin to relax.
Feel supported now.
Feel held in this moment.
From here,
Move your next breath from the tip of the nose down to the base of the spine at the tailbone.
Notice your back body begin to align bone by bone.
Next,
Take a deep breath down to your center and allow your front body to soften.
Notice the wave of breath move from the nose down to the belly and then gently being released through the mouth,
Through a sigh.
Allow that wave to relax and soften you.
Is there any way you can widen the chest,
Making more space between the ribs?
Now let's take three slow breaths into the heart space,
Allowing anything no longer serving you to be gently released.
First breath in and let it go.
Second breath in a little deeper and release.
Last breath in,
Biggest breath yet,
And fully release.
Now begin to relax the shoulders,
Neck,
And jaw,
Fully softening the face,
Releasing tension around the eyes.
Allow the space behind the eyes,
The temples,
And the forehead to soften.
Notice how it all feels so relaxed.
Let's take one more cleansing breath as we arrive at the crown chakra located just above the top of the head.
This chakra is associated with the color violet.
Consider allowing this color to move through the body as it allows you to connect to the energy of this chakra.
This chakra is linked to the energy of bliss,
Connection,
And a deep awakening within.
Consider how this resonates for you today.
Being compassionate with the thoughts that may arise,
Letting go of any judgments or stories,
And simply notice and allow yourself to practice awareness.
Taking a deep breath in and let it go.
Allow a wave of color,
Color violet,
To move through your body,
Head to toe,
Releasing any tension and tightness,
And begin to invite in a gentle softening with every exhale,
Letting go of any stagnant energy no longer serving you.
Now let's consider working with the mantra,
I am divine.
I am connected.
As you connect to this energy from the mantra,
Notice yourself beginning to expand.
Notice yourself beginning to connect to the universe,
Source,
God,
The divine.
Whatever suits you and feels most powerful,
Allow yourself to call in that energy.
And as you do,
Remembering you are divine and the divine lives within you.
And as you allow that to land within the body,
Begin to feel this deep connection,
Connection to your higher self,
Your spirit guides,
And the collective consciousness.
You are never alone.
This loving energy always lifts around you.
So coming back to the mantra,
I am divine.
I am connected.
And as you feel this deep connection from above and all around you,
Feel that love and support,
Giving yourself permission to receive the guidance.
Feel the protection and know that you are safe.
And allow a wave of color violet to move through your body,
Releasing the times you felt alone and isolated,
And allowing you to see the world from a more gentle,
Kind view,
Seeing the miracles around you,
Seeing the magic and all of that connection always there.
From here,
I will give you a few breaths in silence,
Allowing you to connect to the healing energy of the chakra as you begin to integrate,
Allowing this healing to be embodied.
Let's repeat this mantra one more time.
I am divine.
I am connected.
And allow the energy of the chakra,
The color violet,
To seal in the healing powers of the chakra,
Moving this wave of love,
Protection,
And inner power through all aspects of your being.
May it be so,
And so it is.
