Let's begin by coming to a comfortable seat,
Whether it is cross-legged,
Sitting on your heels,
Or on a block or full start.
Ensure that your knees are not past your hips.
Ensuring that you feel comfortable and rooted in whatever position you choose.
From here I invite you to bring your shoulders up towards your ears and glide your shoulder blades down your back opening through the front of your body widening across your collar bone.
Your hands may rest on your thighs,
Palms facing up if you'd like to receive bringing in a little more energy.
Palms facing down if you would like to feel more grounded and rooted.
As you inhale,
Grow through your spine stacking each vertebra on top getting a little taller through your crown and ensuring your shoulders are above your hips.
With every exhale,
Without losing this height,
Allow a gentle letting go to sweep through your body from your head all the way to your feet.
If you notice any pain or discomfort,
Using your breath to the best of your abilities to create a letting go or reposition yourself to find the most optimal sitting position for you.
From here I invite you to bring your attention to your crown.
Imagine a bright light starting to sparkle right at the top of your head.
Slowly this light will begin to glide down your face and down the back of your head giving you an opportunity to take any sensations around your face and head and slowly moving down towards your neck.
From here allow this white light to begin to wash down your shoulders,
Front body of your chest,
Posterior your back.
This white light continues to gently glide down your arms,
Down your torso,
Towards your abdomen and then your hips.
Here allow this white light to continue giving you this gentle embrace as it moves down your legs,
From your hips to your knees,
Knees to your ankles,
Down towards your feet.
Now you should be completely covered in this white light allowing you to shine a little brighter,
Perhaps feeling a little bit of tingling or sensation.
Taking that in.
With your next inhale again stacking your spine,
Grow through your crown becoming a little taller,
A little straighter through your spine and as you exhale grounding,
Connecting to Mama Earth.
Feel completely plugged in and energized.
Feel refreshed,
Renewed.
Feeling a little more in tune with your body from head to toe as you've checked in with every part of you giving in that a little bit of love and attention.
From here bringing your hands together in prayer,
Let's take a deep breath in and as you exhale sighing it out,
Tucking your chin towards your chest,
Bowing in gratitude,
Gratitude making time for your practice,
Gratitude for your body being able to move and get you here,
Gratitude for your breath which allowed your beautiful practice to be divided with gentleness and ease.
Allow whatever relaxation and serenity that you've created within your body to continue to give you this gentle embrace as you carry forward in your day.
You are in control of your breath.
You have the power to create this inner peace.
You know that you can always escape for a few minutes just to check in with your breath and give your body some love.
