This is a meditation written and recorded by Tamiya Urban,
The Urban healer.
It is my pleasure to guide you today.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and take three slow,
Deep breaths.
Exhale through the nose,
Extending your breath down to your center.
And then exhale out through the mouth.
As we begin to slow down the breath,
Allow yourself to land here as you are.
Know where you need to go.
Nothing to do at this moment but be here as you are.
Give yourself permission to surrender,
Settle,
And soften.
You are safe here.
Let's check in with the physical body.
Feel the ground below you,
Supporting you.
Notice how your body begins to get heavier,
Picking up more space as you begin to relax.
Feel supported.
Feel held in this moment.
From here,
Move your next breath from the tip of the nose down to the base of the spine at the tailbone.
Notice your back body begin to align bone by bone.
Next,
Take a deep breath down to your center and allow your front body to soften.
Notice the wave of your breath move from the nose down to the belly,
Gently extending out through the mouth,
Letting out a sigh.
Allow that wave to relax and soften you.
Is there any way you could widen through the chest,
Making more space between the ribs?
Let's take three more slow,
Deep breaths into the heart space,
Allowing anything no longer serving you to gently be released.
Last breath in,
Let it go.
Second breath in a little deeper and release.
Next breath in,
Biggest breath yet,
And let it go.
Now relax the shoulders,
The neck,
And the jaw.
Fully relax through the face,
Completely releasing tension around the eyes.
Allow the space behind the eyes and the temples and forehead soften.
Notice how it all feels so relaxed.
I invite you to move a wave of the color white,
A bright white light to move through your body head to toe,
Releasing any tension and tightness,
Inviting every exhale to be a gentle way to soften and to let go of any stagnant energy that is no longer serving you.
Let's take one more cleansing breath as we begin to check in with your chakras.
Big inhale,
Gently hold.
And a complete exhale,
Let it go.
Let's begin at your root chakra,
The base of the spine.
As you send your breath and awareness to the space,
Connecting to the color red,
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Arriving at the sacral chakra,
Just below the belly button,
Sending your breath and your awareness to the space,
And begin to connect to the color orange.
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Arriving at your solar plexus chakra,
Just above the belly button at your center,
Sending your breath and your awareness to the space,
Connecting to color yellow.
Sending a big breath in,
Let it go.
Arriving at your heart chakra at the center of the chest,
Sending your breath and your awareness to the space,
Connecting to the color green,
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Arriving at your throat chakra,
The base of the neck,
Sending your breath and your awareness to the space,
Connecting to the color blue,
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Arriving at the third eye chakra,
Located between the eyebrows,
Sending your breath and awareness to the space,
And connecting to the color indigo.
Big breath in,
And let it go.
Arriving at the crown chakra,
Just above the head,
Connecting to the color violet,
Sending your breath and your awareness to the space,
Taking a big inhale,
And let it go.
I'll invite you to allow a white light,
Pouring from the source from above,
To move through each of these chakras,
All the way down towards the root and into the earth,
Allowing your breath to move this white light,
Allowing each of the chakras to become awakened,
Cleared,
Cleansed,
And fully balanced,
Allowing the ease of your breath to guide this white light in and around you.
And as you do,
Connecting to the mantra,
I am whole,
I am enough.
I will give you a few moments to take a deep breath in silence,
Allowing this healing to integrate and become embodied as you gently awaken each of your chakras and energy centers,
Allowing them to be cleared and cleansed,
Letting go of whatever no longer serves you,
Being held in this space as you fully and completely rejuvenate and reset,
Taking a big breath in,
Let it all go,
Allowing your breath to be your guide as it shifts and transforms your energy,
Creating a shield of white light that keeps you safe and protected as you fully embody the mantra,
I am whole,
I am enough.
May it be so,
And so it is.
