This meditation is part of my mini-series, Steady Through Change — a gentle somatic collection designed to help you find calm, clarity, and grounding during transitions. Each practice stands alone but flows into the next, supporting your nervous system and your inner steadiness as you move through change. This meditation supports gentle release — not through force, but through warmth, breath, and somatic unwinding. You’ll be guided to visualize a small, steady inner flame that helps dissolve what’s ready to go: outdated stories, emotional residue, or patterns that no longer fit. The energy is not dramatic or intense — it’s clarifying, soothing, and deeply grounding. A beautiful practice for anyone seeking closure, emotional clarity, or a fresh beginning.

Hi,

It's Teresa,

And this meditation today supports release,

Not through force,

But through warmth and breath.

And as you settle in,

Allow your body to let go at its own pace.

So let's take a moment to find stillness.

Let your body settle into a position where you feel supported.

Your spine long but not rigid.

Your shoulders soft.

Your breath unforced.

Closing your eyes if that feels safe,

And notice the simple rhythm of breathing.

And out.

Nothing to change.

Nothing to manage.

Imagine a small flame within you,

Warm,

Steady,

And kind.

It lives somewhere near your center,

Perhaps in your chest or low in your belly.

This flame is not destructive,

It's clarifying.

It burns only what's ready to be returned to light.

As you breathe in,

Feel warmth spreading gently through your body.

And as you exhale,

Let go of anything that feels heavy or outdated.

Old patterns.

Old stories.

Old self-protections that no longer serve you.

You don't have to name them,

Just feel the body releasing,

Jaw softening,

Belly loosening.

Exhale by exhale,

The flame within you burns clean,

Not erasing the past,

But purifying your connection to it.

You may feel tingling,

Warmth,

Or lightness.

Simply signs that energy is shifting.

If emotion rises,

Let it move through with the breath.

The body knows how to release when given permission.

Take a deeper breath now,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

And imagine a cool breeze following the warmth,

Soothing the spaces that have opened inside you.

And whisper inwardly,

I release what's done with reverence.

I keep what's true,

And I let the rest return to light.

Feel the warmth in your center glowing steady.

No longer a fire to cleanse,

But a light to guide.

And as you come back to your surroundings,

Let that inner light remain,

A quiet reminder that what's gone has made space for what's next.

And that you,

Right now,

Are clear,

Alive,

And enough.

Thank you for sharing this moment of release.

If this meditation felt supportive,

You can leave a review or explore more of my grounding and healing practices.

Take your time coming back into your body.

And remember as always,

You are loved,

You are whole,

You are enough.
