Welcome.
I'm Teresa.
Thank you for being here with me today.
Let's start by taking a nice slow breath in.
And gently breathing out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allowing yourself to arrive exactly where you are.
Notice the surface supporting you.
Feel the weight of your body.
Allow your breathing to settle into its own comfortable rhythm.
If it feels okay,
Just softening your gaze or closing your eyes.
So much of life teaches us to keep looking ahead.
The next achievement.
The next milestone.
The next weekend.
The next vacation.
The next chapter.
It's easy to begin believing that happiness is always waiting somewhere just beyond today.
But what if today has something to offer too?
Imagine holding one tiny wildflower in your hand.
Not a perfect bouquet.
Just one small flower growing quietly beside the path.
Many people would walk past without noticing it.
Not because it isn't beautiful.
Because they're searching for something bigger.
Take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
How often have we done the very same with our own lives?
Waiting for the extraordinary.
While ordinary beautiful quietly blooms all around us.
Perhaps today's cup of tea counted.
Perhaps the warm shower counted.
Perhaps hearing the birds this morning counted.
Perhaps laughing for 30 seconds counted.
Perhaps finishing one small task counted.
Perhaps sitting here,
Breathing with me,
Counts.
Nothing about these moments is dramatic.
And yet they are your life.
Not the rehearsal.
Not the waiting room.
This right here.
Allow yourself to imagine gathering these tiny moments into your hands.
One by one.
A smile.
A warm blanket.
Fresh air on your skin.
A familiar face.
A comfortable silence.
The feeling of clean sheets.
A favorite mug.
The first sip of your morning coffee.
The relief of taking off your shoes at the end of a long day.
None of them ask to be extraordinary.
They simply ask to be noticed.
Take another slow breath.
What if enough doesn't always arrive all at once?
What if enough is something we gently collect?
One ordinary moment at a time.
You are still allowed to dream a bit more.
Still allowed to hope.
Still allowed to work toward beautiful things.
This meditation isn't asking you to stop reaching.
It's simply inviting you to stop postponing your life until you get there.
Because today,
Quietly… and gently.
Life is already happening.
As we come to the end of our practice,
Allow one final deep breath to fill your lungs.
And slowly let it go.
As you move through the rest of your day.
See what happens if you pause for one ordinary moment.
Just one.
And choose to allow it to be enough.
Not forever.
Just for now.
Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones we remember most.
Bringing your awareness back to the room around you.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes and as you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are love.
You are whole.
You are enough.
