Simply notice your breath as it is,
And taking a slow breath in and lengthen your exhale.
Let the shoulders soften,
Let the belly loosen,
Let yourself be held.
When change is near,
It's natural to brace,
Even before anything has happened.
Your nervous system is simply trying to protect you.
But right now,
Nothing is required of you.
Nothing needs to be figured out.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel how it supports your weight without effort.
With your next breath,
Imagine sending that support through your legs,
Your spine,
Your chest,
Steadying you from the inside.
Inhale possibility,
And exhale tension.
Inhale the present moment,
And exhale the urge to predict the future.
You are allowed to pause before the next step.
You're allowed to breathe here.
This moment is enough.
