Settle in,
Get cozy and get ready for the next few moments together.
When we want to engage,
Our creativity can sometimes be challenging to shift gears.
Especially if we live in a world where we wear several hats.
Maybe you're a parent,
As well as a creative,
As well as a business owner or employee.
So tapping into our creativity,
Whether it's by profession or hobby,
Sometimes just needs a little boost,
A little help.
And that's my goal for this visualization,
Is that you can shift into that creative state easily.
If your eyes are not already closed,
I invite you to close them.
I want you to picture a store that sells paint and they have those little shelves or big shelves full of all of the paint chip colors.
So all the pieces of paper with the different colors and they're usually all fading and moving to the next.
It looks almost like a rainbow on the wall.
And I want you to just stand and visualize yourself in one of these stores,
Staring at the paint chips.
And as you look around and over each color,
I want you to take note of the colors that jump,
The colors that move you,
That make your insides glow.
Maybe it's purple.
Maybe it's green,
Red.
Just take note of those colors and feel them.
And next,
I want you to picture yourself teleporting to a concert.
This concert is your favorite type of music.
It could be a band,
Could be a DJ,
Whatever type of music you love.
Picture yourself there.
Maybe you're listening to your favorite song and it's in person.
And there are no rules.
So even if the artist of the song has passed away,
It doesn't matter.
You've traveled through time and space and you are attending that live performance.
See yourself dancing or singing along and just feeling the joy of that moment.
Taking in the atmosphere,
The people around you,
The lights,
The sound,
The cheers,
Even the temperature.
Maybe you can see the sky and the stars above.
Just take that in.
And next,
You're teleporting to a beautiful forest.
Whatever type of forest,
Maybe it's a jungle,
Maybe it's a savanna.
Just a beautiful outdoor area in nature,
Wild and free.
And I want you to just stand there and absorb the smells,
The sounds.
Take note of what you see.
Maybe you can taste the salty air if you're near the ocean.
Do you feel the breeze on your skin?
Maybe you just have this deep knowing,
This feeling of peace.
Feel that.
And next,
We're transporting to a studio.
This could be a photography studio,
A dance studio,
An art studio.
Whatever craft lights you up,
I want you to picture yourself in that type of studio.
Maybe you find yourself dancing across the hardwood floor,
Twirling,
Smiling.
Maybe you find a paintbrush in your hand with a beautiful canvas in front of you,
Creating,
Painting beauty,
Vibrancy.
Maybe you're in a photo lab and you're processing some pictures.
Maybe you're in front of a computer and you're editing photos.
Maybe you're sitting at a table,
Creating crafts,
Centerpieces,
Unique pieces of art.
Just picture yourself in that moment.
Maybe it's been a long time since you've done this.
Feel it.
Remember.
Let your soul feel the freedom,
The joy,
The beauty of the moment,
The beauty of what you are creating.
And finally,
I want you to teleport back to the room where you started when you first heard my voice.
Maybe you're at home,
At work.
Maybe you're in the car,
Sitting next to water.
Take a moment to just feel that creative flow within your body.
Maybe you're about to start a creative project.
I want you to use this momentum,
This energy you've started and continue on in your creative process.
