Welcome.

This is Tamara with MindBodyNow.

I'm here to share with you the deep cleansing breath technique which can be used to maintain balance and harmony in your emotions and can also be used to bring you down from a sudden burst of anger.

So the way the breath works is we inhale through the nose and we exhale at an open mouth.

If you're starting angry,

It's going to be a bit forceful like the first few.

And if you're starting balanced,

Just inhale naturally,

Deeply,

Exhale out an open mouth.

Okay,

So there it is.

Let's begin after the chime.

Moving at your perfect pace and breath length.

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale open mouth.

Continue inhaling through the nose,

Exhale open mouth.

Going at your perfect pace now.

Feeling more oxygenated,

Bringing more vitality into the body,

Energy.

Your eyes are open if you're requiring focus right now such as driving.

But if you're just sitting in a safe place,

You might try closing your eyes.

Continue and notice if you start to naturally slow down.

Notice if you feel any tingling in the body.

You should be relaxed in your muscles but you've just awakened some energy and moved some energy.

Okay,

So we're moving now toward a more normal breath.

Now just inhaling and exhaling through the nose.

If your eyes had closed,

You flutter them open and just feel how you feel.

Notice if there's a change.

Thank you for breathing with me.

I'm Tamara with MindBodyNow.
