Welcome to this gentle daily tapping which is for anyone that might be going through a bit of a hard time at the moment.
So we're going to be tapping into that inner strength to really help you feel more calm,
Grounded and more able to face whatever today has in store for you.
So get yourself nice and comfortable where you're sitting,
Just let your shoulders drop.
Soften through the tummy.
And we're going to begin with a nice deep breath in through the nose.
Nice big inhale,
Expansive.
And then exhaling in your own time,
In your own way.
Just softening into this space.
Well done and then tapping on the side of the hand repeating after me either in your mind or out loud and feel free to switch any words up as well.
Even though today feels hard and I'm not sure I've got the strength I need.
I choose to be gentle with myself.
Even though part of me wants to hide away and not have to face the day ahead.
I honour how I feel and I'm showing up for myself anyway.
Even though I'm so tired and I'm carrying a lot right now.
I trust that I have the strength I need.
Somewhere.
We're gonna find it.
And I deeply and completely.
Love,
Honour and accept myself.
Well done,
So up to the eyebrow points.
Today feels heavy.
Howdy!
Side of the eye and I'm carrying so much.
Under the eye.
I just want to hide under the duvet,
Run away.
Under the nose.
Just so I don't have to meet today.
Don't have to deal with it.
Chin points and I'm fed up of pretending that I'm fine.
Fed up of being the strong one?
Collarbone points.
I can be honest about how hard this feels.
So as we tap here on the collarbone points,
I'd love to just invite you to really express any other thoughts or emotions that might be present right now when you think about this strength or having to be strong or getting through the day.
So maybe you're really feeling that pressure of always being the one in charge.
So you might say something like,
I'm so tired of holding this all together.
You might say something like I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this.
I feel so alone in this.
Or even just that feeling scared.
I'm scared and I don't want to admit it.
So just take a moment to really express that here.
I'll give you a moment to do that as we tap on the collarbone point.
Just expressing your truth right now.
Let it have that voice.
Remember there's no judgment here.
Just expressing Any thoughts or feelings?
Take a breath if you need to.
I feel so,
This is so.
You're doing great.
Well done,
That naming what's there is a really powerful step.
So let's move now to under the arm.
I let whatever thoughts and emotions are here Be here.
Top of the head.
It makes sense that I'm finding this hard.
So much sense.
I'm only human.
Well done,
It takes real courage to just express all that stuff.
So let's just take a grounding breath here for a moment.
So breathing in through the nose.
I'd like to invite you to sigh it out on the exhale.
So just let go,
Sigh it out.
Do it another time if you need to.
Sigh.
Well done.
All right,
So for this next round you don't need to say anything out loud here.
I'm going to be guiding you through the point so all you need to do is just listen and let the words land.
Okay,
So tapping on the eyebrow points,
Eyes closed or open,
It's up to you.
So just thinking about that word strong or strength,
We often think of that kind of physical strength,
Which is something that's quite kind of loud or big.
But strength isn't always like that.
Sometimes it's just that decision to get out of bed,
Get dressed,
Make yourself a cup of tea.
Or to breathe for really hard moments.
Side of the eye and you might not be feeling strong right now and that is okay.
You might even have some resistance to having to be strong.
And kind of would rather that someone else was having to be strong?
And that's okay too.
Just know there is that quiet strength within you even if you can't quite feel it yet.
It doesn't just disappear when we can't feel it.
It is there.
It's still there quietly holding you.
That inner strength.
Under the eye.
And you know,
Our nervous systems and our minds were never really designed to be on all the time,
Like on alert.
So if you are feeling tired or wobbly or you've just had enough.
That isn't a weakness.
That's just a human body saying,
Hey,
I need a little bit of care.
I need a little bit of attention.
So remember to really look after yourself as you go about your day.
On those days that you need to be strong,
You need to take care of yourself.
So you can try having little self-care snacks where you literally just have like five minutes where you go to a quiet space,
You take yourself off and you tap or you breathe or you just write about how you're feeling in a notebook.
Self-care snacks.
Under the nose.
Remembering it's okay as well if you need to lean on other people.
We were never meant to do this whole life thing on our own,
Especially when we're going through those hard times.
So reaching out for that kind voice,
That supportive friend,
Someone who just gets it.
Is okay.
You might feel like you don't want to do that or you're a burden but people love to help you know they love to help where they can.
So you can be brave and ask.
Moving to the chin points.
You don't have to have today all figured out.
You don't have to be calm all the time.
And you don't have to perform this,
You know,
Being okay for everyone.
You're allowed to be just where you are,
Just as you are,
Feeling whatever you're feeling or whatever you are not feeling.
It's all valid.
It is all valid.
Moving to the collarbone points.
Thinking about resilience and how resilience isn't about being this tough,
Unbreakable human being.
Resilience is about being real,
Being vulnerable and being soft enough to feel and trusting that you will be able to navigate your way through things slowly in your own time and in your own way.
You can be soft and strong.
You can be gentle and powerful at the same time.
Under the arm.
So if things do get hard today and you feel like you need a little cry that's okay.
Crying you know it's such an important release.
It's the body's way of just letting out what we've been really holding in.
It softens us,
It supports us.
And it helps us move through our emotions.
So let the tears come.
And you can absolutely have.
Or include having a good cry in those self-care snacks today.
And if you need to rest.
Rest.
That's OK.
And if all you feel like you've done at the end of the day is get through.
Then that is more than enough.
Top of the head.
Just acknowledging that actually you're doing so much better than you think you are.
And that strength that you're looking for or needing,
It's already in you.
Remember,
It doesn't have to be big or loud to be real.
It just has to be yours.
Your version of strong today.
Is the perfect version.
It's the perfect version.
Okay,
Well done.
Let's do one more round of normal tapping now.
So repeating after me,
Tapping on the eyebrow point.
I'm allowed to go gently today.
You're allowed to go gently today.
Side of the eye.
Strength doesn't always have to look fierce.
Or big or loud.
It can be quiet and gentle.
Under the eye.
Sometimes strength is just choosing to keep going.
One moment at a time.
Under the nose,
I'm proud of myself for having the courage to show up today.
Tim Point,
I trust I'll handle each moment as it comes.
Collarbone point,
I'm supported even when I can't see it.
Take a breath.
Under the arm,
I'm stronger than I give myself credit for.
Top of the head and I carry this quiet strength with me today and every day.
Well done.
So you can stop tapping there,
Just place one of your hands or both hands on your heart centre.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Well done,
Just take a moment to notice how you feel.
You might like to feel that quiet strength just settling within you,
In your chest,
In your shoulders,
In your whole body.
And it's been there all along,
You've just reconnected with it today.
You're doing so well.
So I'm sending you love and strength to get through the day.
Thank you for tapping with me.
Take care of yourself.
